Aroma: 6 Look: 4 Taste: 7 Palate: 2 Overall: 13
Cask @ Lady Grey's, Newcastle [050917]
Blonde, light haze, dense white head, light lacing
Aroma of citrus zest, light pale malt
Taste of soft grapefruit, citrus zest hops, pale sweet fruity pale malt
Palate - Medium light body, gets more bitter to the finish, Finish is quite dry and very bitter...get too bitter for me
Overall - Not the most quaffable of their beers as the finish is way over bitter

leaparsons (10906) - Wigston, Leicestershire, ENGLAND - JUL 2, 2016
Cask, The Criterion, Leicester. Pale golden with a white foam. Bready yeast mallinsons style with grassy notes and sudsy pine. White grape with apricot and lemon. Hints of hedgerow. Decent.

3.1
mR_fr0g (14242) - Hertfordshire, ENGLAND - JUN 30, 2016
Cask at the Euston tap. A pale golden coloured pour with a loose white head. Aroma is subdued biscuity base grains, grassy lemon hop, bitter lemon. Flavour is composed of base grains, grassy grapefruit, bitter lon, harsh bitterness. Palate is semi sweet base grains, good cask condition, grainy. Aggressive back of the throat hop bitterness. Some berry hop

ManVsBeer (11446) - Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire, ENGLAND - JAN 10, 2016
Cask @ Fox & Goose, Hebden Bridge. Golden with a thin head. Has a fair hop-malt balance with a small. bitterness and a berry-seeet nose.

RichardW (1813) - Carlisle, Cumbria, ENGLAND - OCT 23, 2015
Cask Kings Head Carlisle. Unsurprisingly pale! Lemon and light nectarine aroma, juicy orange flavours, faint biscuit malt. Quite a long bitter finish. I’ve had better from them, but it’s still good.

3.2
niquillis (2752) - Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire, ENGLAND - OCT 18, 2015
Cask at Hop Inn, Newcastle under Lyme. Pours pale gold. Quite dry from the malt, sweet juicy hop, quite thin. OK.

3.9
DruncanVeasey (8603) - Nr NUNEATON, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - JUN 2, 2015
Bottle from Beer Gonzo. Fine looking heaped lager gold wafting delicately with jellied lime, deep grassiness, strawberry chew, Sauvignon and celery-like hop. Rasping house bitterness beneath subtler lime zest, Sauvignon, satsuma and fennel suggestions. Nibble of greasy monkey nut. Fragrant but poisonously bitter. Love it.

3.8
zacgillbanks (5726) - Tyne & Wear, ENGLAND - APR 3, 2015
Bottle from Rehills, Newcastle. Hazy pale straw coloured with an extremely bitter grapefruit and tropical fruit flavour, malty notes with pine and bitter orange on the finish. Super flavours from a relatively low ABV beer.

Clear amber, small white head. Hoppy floral aroma. Similar flavours, quite floral, plenty of grapefruit, heavy hops. Really heavy, hoppy bitter finish. Light to medium bodied, very slightly oily. Not complex or refined, but delicious. Right up my street.

3.5
Pudding (276) - Birmingham, West Midlands, ENGLAND - MAR 1, 2015
500ml. Pours clear gold, with shallow, lasting head. Aroma is ’cats pee’ (c hops)! Taste is strong herbal, hoppy. Mouth-coating mouthfeel. Overall perhaps overly hopped in bitterness and flavour.
