Very hazy gold beer, small white head. Palate is light and dry with mild fine carbonation. Dry pale malts. Mallinsons soap! Floral hops, slightly spicy. Whisper of citrus. Dry finish. Nice Saaz bit overall the beer is dry and soapy! Bah!
Cask conditioned at Harbury Beer Festival ’14. Gold with white head. Nicely hoppy beer, there are some surprising notes from the Saaz hops, orange, lemon citrus with hints of lime. Fresh and spritzy. Very popular on our table. harrisoni (19158) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - AUG 30, 2014
Cask handpull at Crate Hackney Wick. Clear gold lasting white head. Oh yes this is properly lovely wish the condition was better but the hops and flavour are lovely and saazy. My kind of beer. Saaz flavour is superb. So nice. Spicy and herby. Good. minutemat (5938) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - JUL 1, 2013
Bottle from Beermoth, Manchester. Light citrus aroma, lemons, vanilla, spices. Slightly bitter with floral notes rising through. Very satisfying beer.

Cask, the 4.5% abv. version, half at The Dispensary. Fair, white head to a near-clear, golden body. Grass hoppy aroma added by herbal dryness. Taste of dry, lemony hops, lightly spiced. Dry and smooth bitter finish. Satisfying (Liverpool, 09.04.2013). JohnRMurdoch (4997) - Glasgow, SCOTLAND - FEB 13, 2013
500ml bottle from Hippo Beers (4.3% abv). Hazy golden yellow colour, reasonable head. Resin biscuit & fruit aroma. Biscuit, citrus fruit & resin flavour. Similar to other beers by this brewer. Very drinkable. Niksko (624) - Melbourne, AUSTRALIA - FEB 8, 2013
Pours light golden, slightly hazy with three fingers of silky white head. Aroma is pretty faint, but that’s normal for Saaz. Very slight citrus and herbal nose. Flavor is citrus attack, bread and toast on the mid palate and refreshing herbal bitterness and a touch of grapefruit on the finish. Carbonation is soft and mouth feel is slightly oil. Not bad. zacgillbanks (5413) - Tyne & Wear, ENGLAND - JAN 19, 2013
Bottle from Rehills, Newcastle. A hazy golden beer with floral fruity flavours and slight woody notes on the finish. Vicci (8) - Manchester, Greater Manchester, ENGLAND - DEC 31, 2012 does not count
Aroma of pine disinfectant! Not much oomph on the palate - nice bitter taste but doesn't linger. Dry and citrusy. Drinks like a 3.8% sessional beer
