BlackHaddock (7562) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - MAY 18, 2014
UPDATED: SEP 25, 2016 Had this again on 24th Sep 2016 and thought it very Grapefruity and Lemony throughout, a lot more depth than the first time I had it: more Hops this time around. Hand-pulled half in Ye Old Fighting Cocks, Oakengates on 17th May 2014. I assume this is a one hop brew? Pale golden body with a head head. Simcoe Hops, like Cascade are supposed to impart citrus notes into the aroma and taste, they didn’t use enough though! I found this fruity and bland. I’ve struggled with single hop brews before finding them one dimensional and uninteresting, this followed that pattern.
