Eructoblaster (4412) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - OCT 29, 2017
Bottle - 500ml. Hazy amber body with a thin, lasting, off-white creamy head. Nice hoppy aroma with barley sugar, malty, and caramel hints. Its well balanced malty/hoppy taste carries barley sugar, woody, and fruity notes. Ends with a long bitter finish. Very enjoyable.

lbianchi66 (441) - FRANCE - AUG 8, 2017

This is a beer from Finland. It’s Malmgård’s Emmer IPA. It comes in at 6.2% ABV and 77 IBUs. It’s my only second Finnish beer, so I’m excited to try it! It pours a clear deep golden colored body with a white head, in a tall IPA glass. The aroma is light but slightly piney and charred. There’s not much to get out of it. The taste however is piney and a little resinous. The flavors aren’t exactly bursting on either the aroma nor the taste. But you do get a decent amount of hops. There’s a big malty presence too. It’s coming very close to being the dominant flavor. The sweet and the bitter are fighting over who gets to dominate. It’s a little weak though. A simple but refreshing beer. It would be a great gateway beer for those who aren’t to excited about piney hops as you get to taste other than bitterness. Decent but I probably wouldn’t pick this up again.

Very weak aroma of herbs and floral notes. Similar taste with citrus and grassy notes. Very mild sweetness. It is a very good beer, but a bit thin for an IPA.
