Kullankeltainen suodattamaton Tripel-tyylinen olut. Maussa Emmervehnän tuomaa täyteläisyyttä. Vahva, mausteisen hedelmäinen ja lämmittävä makuelämys.

This was surprisingly good finnish tripel brewed with emmer wheat. Smells of apricot and citrus. Taste has some apricot, citrus and grape fruit aromas with nice bitterness and strong hoppyness.

Bottle 120817. Golden-orange color with an off-white head. Aroma is hop, yeast, sugar, malt. Flavor is hop, yeast, sugar, malt, alcohol, spices. Medium to full body. Nice beer.

Now who puts a 8.3% tripel in a 50 cl bottle... BB... not sure, it was on the cap... Pours darkish misty amber with big off-white head. Aroma of Belgian yeast, some fruity esters, dough, hint of booze... Tastes more doughy sweet than smells, some bitterness in second wave. Booze shines through as it warms...

jampura (195) - FINLAND - OCT 28, 2016
Aika maukas, vehnä antaa lisänsä joka toimii, toisaalta tuo pientä tunkkaisuutta makuun. Maussa kevyttä sitrusta ja makeutta.

blackisle (2892) - Amsterdam IJburg, NETHERLANDS - SEP 26, 2016
Bottle 50cl. poured into a teku glass. Surprising tripel, at first light sourish nose, initially sharp on the tongue, but a smooth and full bittersweet flavor. Cloudy pale amber, small foamy off-white head, which vanishes within seconds, minimal lacing; aroma pale malts, caramel, honey, faint overripe apple undertone; taste medium sweet and bitter, malty, toffee, sligtly fruity; sweetbitter malty aftertaste, spicy touch at the end; medium body, oily texture, average carbonation; very nice.

Bottle @ home, cellared one year. Pours a hazy orange liquid with a small white head and som nice thin lacing. Aroma is dry and sweet with maltiness, caramel, white pepper yeast and fruits. Body is medium with average carbonation and has a quite deep malty and toffee sweetness, and good duration. Flavors also of pepper, almonds/marzipan, bread, pears, honey, wine gums, herbs and some earth. Reminds me of a malty super saison.

Utuinen, hieman hailakan sameanoranssi olut kohtalaisella, mutta aika nopeasti häviävällä valkoisella vaahdolla. Tuoksu vahvasti belgihiivainen, appelsiinisen hedelmäinen ja karamellinen. Maku myös appelsiinisen hedelmäinen ja hieman mausteinen. Loppupuoleltaan vehnäisen hiivainen jälkituntuma.

korilas (67) - SOUTH KOREA - MAY 26, 2016
this is my kind of beer; strong, honest and fruity. it’s clear but still has a yeasty taste.

kacyper (1498) - Warsaw, POLAND - MAY 20, 2016
Butelka. Aromat utleniony, miodowe, lekka belgia w tle, trochę alkoholu. W smaku goryczka średnia do niskiej alkoholowa, lekko kwaśne.

Nonshaugen (681) - Fetsund, NORWAY - MAR 5, 2016
50 cl, bottle conditioned. Quite clear, golden orange, low carbonation, ultra thin head. Aroma is dark fruits, yeast, dark bread with grainy notes at the back. Mouthfeel is full bodied, medium carbonation, alcohol notes and a long aftertaste. Taste is crammed with fruityness, it has medium bitterness and strong flavours from the fermentation. But it’s milder than most Abbey Triples, though. I think the malts are The Ruler here, it’s really nice and drinkable.
