Bottle 750ml. black bottle w. swing top.
[ Bottle #201 ]. Unclear dark brown color with a average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to light light heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, cacao. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, dusty, peppery - chili. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
From tap at the brewpub. Pours dark brown to black with a lacing off-white head. Aroma is distinct - utterly DISTINCT - dark chocolate. Even the the chocolate bitterness comes through in the aroma. Bitter, dark roasted and deep black chocolate flavoured. Bitter and bone dry into a linger chocolate finish. Lasting bitter and dark roasted chocolate impression. Sadly a bit thin on the body but a unique experience on the chocolate intensity. Ungstrup (37558) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - SEP 11, 2010

Draught at the brewpub
The color is almost black, with too small head. Se aroma of dark malts, light smell of ripe fruits (apples). Compared to the Möllan Porter tasted side to side, the mouthfeel is not so smooth and the flavor not so chocolatey; it plays more with medium roasted malts, and the chocolate/cacao is in the background, not so evident. Correct bitterness, with very light malt acidity.
Pleasant, without thrills.
