The scent is thin but what a wonderful flavor. It’s like getting a spoonful of sweet cocoa in the mouth. The aftertaste is never ending. A wonderful beer that you just have to taste it. rarbring (2294) - Linköping, SWEDEN - MAY 16, 2015
Aroma: Smells of smoke and wood, some chocolate.wavers1 (916) - Notown, California, USA - OCT 6, 2010
Appearance: A clear dark brown beer, a tan head with good lacing and good curtains.
Taste: Staring with sweet brown sugar, then smoked sausage and some dark fruits.
Palate: Little carbonation, soft and oily, a nice dry finish.
Overall: An easy session-able good porter, nice smoke touch.
Note: On-tap at Malmö Brygghus Reviewed 2012-02-16.
big thanks to deflagro for this rarity! beautiful bottle, ceramic but with a satin finish instead of matte. nice pour, dark brown with a good sized brown head, nice retention. nice bit of cocoa on he nose, but its much more present in the flavor. Smooth, nice body and palate, not too bitter on the finish, very sessionable. not huge or crazy, but a solid importer from a new brewery, i like! Furseth (2162) - Kungälv, SWEDEN - APR 27, 2013

Bottle from Systembolaget.
Has an oily black texture in the glass with a minimal brown head. When you smell it you immediately feel the cocoa and then som pleasant toffee and grass. The taste is also dominated by cocoa without becoming either too bitter or too sweet, perfect balance. However, it lacks in mouthfeel, it doesn’t quite feel as heavy as the taste suggest. All in all though, this is a fantastic brew for a brewery’s first beer. DutchDrebus (6002) - Oirschot, NETHERLANDS - MAR 28, 2013

Very deep rubyish amber colour with small head. Aroma and flavour is rich cocoa and vanilla along with roasted malts, some liquorice, ashes and mild notes of alcohol.
UPDATED: MAY 11, 2013 Bottle. Aroma of cocoa that smells artificial although its not. Also chocolate sweetness in the nose. Taste: coffe, chocolate ("chokladbollar"), fresh and suitably light.
UPDATE: New version with updated recipe sampled. Nose is very fresh with perfect cocoa and vanilla notes. kazin (539) - Malmö, SWEDEN - NOV 25, 2013
Difficult to rate since it has changed so much over the years. Has tasted everything from dark roasted malts to chocolate milk. However, it has really improved lately, and has a nice sweet chocolate flavor to it.
