Cask (handpump) at Egham Beer Festival, November 2012. Deep russet colour. Loose beige head. Sweet and nutty. Somewhere between a mild and a brown ale. Nothing particularly wrong with it but not really my thing.
Cask at the White Hart, Holyport. A dark peaty brown pour with a loose cream head; aroma of brown sugar; thin and watery with a sweet treacly taste and an earthy bitterness; then a sweet nutty finish with a trace of licorice. Vladivostok (485) - Buckinghamshire, ENGLAND - OCT 14, 2014
A very dark mild and quite a complex beer with a strong malty aroma and restrained flavours of roast malts and caramel. The combination of these together with moderate hopping keeps the beer in a good balance without any one dominant. Medium bitter finish. A good mild. anders37 (26605) - Malmö, SWEDEN - DEC 2, 2012

Dark mahogony brown with a medium off white head.
Nose is malts, yeast, dark fruits and a whiff of smoke.
Taste follows, fruity, yeasty, a little toffee.
Medium bodied with soft carbonation, smooth on the palate, leading to a bitter finish.

Cask conditioned at Oxford Beer Fest ’12. Dark brown with off white head. A particularly sweet mild, malty, some roastiness perhaps, slightly tinny note but the overwhelming experience is sugary sweetness.
