Redolent of coffee and dark chocolate, Double Nut Brown is our amped-up version of a traditional brown porter. This dark ale combines a mild sweetness with a finishing roasty dryness, and is brewed with roasted, brown and dark Munich malts.

22oz bottle pours brown with just a few off white bubles on top. malty aroma, flavor is subdued sweetness farily simple without much too it. goes down smooth. noting to speical, but drinkable.

0,33l bottle from Beergium. Deep dark brown beer with medium, quickly disappearing head. Aroma has nuts, chocolate, caramel, milk and malts. Taste has same ingredients with some mild earthy bitterness. Medium body.

12 oz single bottle from Total Wine & More - Laguna Hills. Deep reddish brown appearance with a small, fluffy tan head. Aroma of sweet caramel, toffee, toasted malt, mild chocolate, mocha and light nutty malts. Similar flavor, adding a mild to moderate bitterness (earthy, roasty) and a mild to moderate malt sweetness. Medium body with slight dry feel and a balanced finish. Solid stuff overall.

Bottle from Beergium. Aroma is roasted malt, lots of nuts, coffee, mocha, some caramel and a touch of chocolate. Flavour is moderate to medium sweet and mildly bitter. Body is medium and slightly creamy. Very nice, lots of nuts and some coffee, with chocolate and a slightly creamy body. Smooth and drinkable.

Taste is dry, almost tart-ish, nuttily and roasty dark malty, subtle sweetness, a touch of red berries and cherry.

Medium body, light carbonation, smooth mouthfeel and a very pleasant coffee/chocolate finish.
