Bottle sample at a tasting at Rotem’s. Thanks Rotem. Clear amber with a white head. A little honey and malt with faint hoppy aroma, molasses, some cucumber. Tastes bitter, then a little alcoholic, sweet and fruity. Fizzy, medium-bodied, maple finish. stouby (4653) - Holbæk, DENMARK - AUG 29, 2011
Bottle at Mammoth Mountain Inn.
Clear golden with a white head, ok lacinhs. Aroma moderate malty, caramel, heavy hoppy, citrus, spicy. Flavor moderate sweet, heavy bitter, long duration. Medium+ body. Good. nick76 (4399) - Tampa, Florida, USA - SEP 13, 2013
The aroma is hoppy and malty with a citrus/pine hop and a touch of yeast. The appearance is deep gold with a foamy head. The taste is like the aroma with a bitter finish. The palate is smooth. Overall a good IPA. thegreenrooster (4373) - St.louis, Missouri, USA - JUN 10, 2015
Pour is a clear copper with a huge white head. Aroma is a decent hop followed by some cracker malt and a bit of sweet caramel. Flavor is a minimal hop with a more chewy earthy malt. This was not what I was expecting from an IPA from the west coast. Way malt heavy and the hops have disappeared. There is no date on the bottle so this could be months old. Put a frigging best by or bottled on date on IPA’s! goldtwins (4320) - Nesconset, New York, USA - MAR 2, 2008
Poured an almost clear copper color with a small off-white head. Citrus and toasty and caramel malt. Citrus flavor dominates but some sweet malt gives it balance. Mildly bitter semi-dry finish. Light-medium body. Not crisp but decent beer.

Can... Poured golden with a white head. Very sweet, like hop candy. Slightly floral, sweet tart-like yeast esters, malty sweetness, dry carbonated palate, hoppy finish. IrishBoy (4185) - Bakersfield, California, USA - SEP 9, 2007
Draft at Brews in the Village; nose of citrus hops; hazy dark amber with a small beige head; flavor of hop bitterness with some lemons! theisti (4114) - Kansas, USA - JUN 9, 2014
12 oz bottle purchased as a single at the Lodgepole general store in Sequoia National Park. Enjoyed as “Tuolumne Meadows IPA”. The pour is hazed orange copper with a smallish off white head. The aroma is faint floral hops along with cracker malt. The taste is a pleasant blend of the dry floral, softly bitter hops and the cracker toasted malt. The palate is medium to light bodied with soft carbonation and a clean dry softly bitter mineral finish. Nice. patrick767 (4063) - fort wayne, Indiana, USA - OCT 24, 2008
bottle - Pours hazy copper with a two finger head that laces well. Naturally it smells of hops with some citrus and floral notes. the flavor is well hopped but also pretty well balanced. it has a pleasantly bitter finish. Tasty! BelgianBeerGal (4039) - Panama City, Florida, USA - MAY 12, 2010
12oz bottle bought in Yosemite National Park. Pours a cloudy orange colour with a small off-white head and nice lacing. Pretty soft aroma of non-descript hops but definitely fruity more than piney. Rather gentle flavour too with the only bitterness really showing up in the finish. Better than expected honestly.
