It tastes like you’re driving up the 395 along the Eastern Sierra. The sage and juniper in are so good. It’s a solid unique IPA. maltman53 (472) - Corrales, New Mexico, USA - AUG 20, 2013
Pours amber color, with huge citrus, pine, grapefruit, lime hop aroma, great malt sweetness and hop middle palate, refreshing finish. This is a very nice IPA. thetmaxx (927) - West Sacramento, California, USA - SEP 7, 2011
This was poured from the gift pack I received from the brewery. Aroma is nice, cleanly hopped. Flavor is mildly bitter, but not overly for a regular ipa. Overall its pretty great! dwyerpg (6410) - Las Vegas, Nevada, USA - JUL 28, 2013
Has some light grapefruit to the arom. Tons of bittering hops with some citrus to balance it but it could use more. A fairly dry finish. Pretty good stuff. krumbum (1109) - truckee, California, USA - MAR 18, 2014
Clear pearl copper colors. Great sawdust pine smell. Good fall leaf bitter bite to the taste. Leaves a lasting bitter behind.

Slightly hazy, but flashy copper color with a pillowy head of offwhite colored foam. Pleasant caramel sweetness on the aroma and taste with a touch of dark berry and tangerine toward the backend. A subtle bitterness rounds it up nicely. badbeer (434) - Iowa, USA - JUL 7, 2008
Pours a nice, fairly clear, amber color; but with very little head and no lacing. Smell has some nice juicy citrus hops, balanced well with the some sweet caramel from the malt. This one has a very nice aroma to it, but not quite a 4.5 for me. Taste comes off a little more floral, but still retaining an excellent balance of malt and hops. By balance, I mean that hops are dominant, as it is an IPA, but the malt keeps it from being one sided. Less than medium level of carbonation, with a medium body. This is a beer that beginners can love as well as the experienced hophead. I think this would be a staple beer of mine if it were available in my area. From a can into a goblet. From the moment I open this this beer and poured it, i could smell the hops and could tell it had a a lot of malt from the amber appearance. I would buy this again as well saved a few cans for gifts Ungstrup (38413) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - JUN 18, 2005
A hazy orange beer with a fine though collapsing white head. The aroma is lovely grassy and hoppy - and so is the flavor. J_man (1022) - Tustin, California, USA - APR 29, 2014
On tap at Anthill Pub. A bit of pine aroma with a strong caramel malt scent. Crystal clear orange / amber with a white head. All the aromas follow right into the flavor along with a bit of grapefruit and pith. There’s an earthy almost sour bitterness that follows this. Leaves a nice bitter leaf taste behind. Very good IPA.
