UPDATED: JUL 18, 2016 On draught at the pizza deck in Yosemite Valley. Maybe it was the magic of the valley, maybe it was because this was after a long day hiking, but this was the best pils I?ve ever had. Crisp, bright, slight hoppiness, delicious and refreshing. (En fût à la source sous le nom de Golden Trout Pils): Bonne croûte fromagée, sulfure et chlorophylle avec un accent zesté prononcé. Belle besogne. AmEricanbrew (6878) - Same Trailer, Different Park, Louisiana, USA - MAR 23, 2009
Clear golden with a white head. Nice honey sweet malty aroma with spicy peppercorn. Silky smooth mouthfeel. Light spicy and floral hop flavors ride a honey sweet pale malt base brew. The best lager I’ve seen in a long time... keepersj12 (3117) - Sicklerville, New Jersey, USA - MAY 16, 2011
One of the best smelling pilsners I’ve had. Very nice pine and citrus. The pour was golden with a big head. The flavor was summer beer. Drink lots when you cut the lawn and more when you bag the clippings. Very nice light beer. Hophead22 (2879) - Redlands, by way of Wisconsin,, California, USA - APR 22, 2012

Picked this up at one of the better if not best beer stores in SoCal, Hi Times in Costa Mesa. I’ve had many of these folks beers and this was a very good version of a pilsner style. Poured a little foggy, smell was light, sweet, and a bit bready. The taste was clean and refreshing, nothing special, not going to knock you out but good. I would recommend picking this up, good brewery, good version of a pils. Palidor19 (3188) - Brandon, Florida, USA - AUG 22, 2013
It’s dry and has a very real malt background, taste of hay and low hops. It brings for good drinking 3fourths (9341) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - FEB 26, 2008
It feels like I’ve come full circle, drinking a pilsner from a can. Hazy yellow colored body (it says it’s can conditioned) with a pure white head. Nose comtains lemon drops, wheat, sour oranges and clover honey. Tastes wet up front and turns more chalky after that. Mild, light flavor of wheat and lemon, and a syrupy almost-sweet, fresh flavor of pils crackers malts. A simple but tasty beer. trokini (1025) - San Diego, California, USA - MAR 20, 2008
Tap @ Clocktower. Pours clear gold with a nice little white head. Clean, bright aroma of hops, grass, pine, and sweet yeast. Refreshing taste of the same, but a dry finish. Honey, lemon, and bread also come out towards the middle. Nice beer. ChainGangGuy (4894) - Woodstock, Georgia, USA - MAR 23, 2008
Appearance: Pours a lightly hazy, yellow body with a bubbly white head.
Smell: Pils malt aroma with a drop of honey and a note of citrus.
Taste: Pilsner malt flavor with a hint of grain. Sour lemons rush in, though that drop of honey fights to be head. Mild, spicy bitterness. The honey eventually shines through on the citrusy finish.
Mouthfeel: Light-bodied. Medium carbonation.
Drinkability: A solid pilsner and in a can to boot!
