22oz bottle brought back from the brewery and shared with a good friend. Thanks Kevin! Pours pitch black with a nice tan head. Bourbon nose along with some chocolate maltiness. Roasted malt and bourbon flavors followed by dark chocolates, coffee and vanilla. Very nicely balanced and creamy. The alcohol is well hidden, the finish is roasty, bourbon, chocolaty goodness! Very nice! Thanks again Kevin for sharing this with me.
Black color with mocha head. Aroma has really nice whiskey notes with some dark berries. Taste is sweet at first with nice bourbon but also fruity notes. Finish has caramel and butterscotch, just a bit of roasted malt bitterness. Full bodied, smooth mouthfeel. Overall it’s a really well made beer with all flavors integrated nicely into the whole. Bottle. Sensoric. Pitch black with light brown, semi-thick head. Good head retention and lacing. Aroma mainly milk chocolate and nice bourbon notes, not so intense. Taste is semi sweet, nothing interesting here Medium body, oily and creamy texture, soft carbonation. Finish is slightly roasted, creamy, milk chocolate. ABV is well hidden. In overall nice brew, but nothing really outstanding here. There are some bourbon notes, fortunately not too boozy, not really thick, neither complex. cgarvieuk (24792) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - JAN 22, 2017

50cl bottle pours with a deep dark empty void of a body that supports a thin mocha head. The aroma offers up sweetened dark roasted malts, oak and then spicy oak heading into modest boozy bourbon barrel notes. The taste delivers smooth soft chocolate nuanced highly roasted malts, chocolate brownie and then boozy spicy oak notes. Into the finish the spicy oak grows step by step with the booze and chocolate brownie goodness. Yes! This is on the thin side but the tasty rich depth balances that out. Solid.

500 ml bottle. The beer is black with a small tan head, fades pretty quickly. Pretty big brown sugar/molasses note, medium chocolate, moderate roast, good hit of vanilla. Moderate to mild booziness. Light cola and oak. Taste has a bit more roast and barrel flavor. Moderate to medium acidity with a light dark fruit note. Some coffee. Some chocolate, though less than in the aroma. Finish is roast and barrel. Some body to it but it could use more. Moderate to medium bitterness, picks up a bunch at the end. Solid barrel-aged stout. Decent stout smell. Mineraly taste with generic stout flavors in there. Medium body, high carbonation, and foamy. Blech. jtclockwork (16685) - , New Jersey, USA - SEP 8, 2016

Funny looking 50cl bottle pours a murky black with some wispy, brown head. Nose is molasses, chocolate malt, smoke, toast. Flavor is chewy with malt and molasses, toast, bread crust. Chewy finish.
