18-Jun-08 (12-oz bottle: Purchased 12-May-08 for $1.89 at Hi-Time Wine Cellars in Costa Mesa, CA) This is a pretty basic American pale ale. It’s malty and lightly sweet with grainy, pale malt flavors and a mild huskiness toward the finish. Bitterness is mild and smooth, and the gentle hop flavors are piney and dusty with a hint of weediness. Medium in body and carbonation, but uninteresting on the palate. Medium-golden in color and somewhat hazy in appearance with a half inch of off-white head. Retention is average, the foamy layer fading to a thick ring while leaving some patchy lace on the glass. In general, this is a drinkable pale ale, but mild and somewhat boring because of the lack of crisp, focused hops.
Alla spina. Bionda e fresca, ricalca in pieno lo stile delle APA con una luppolatura americana non eccessivamente amara. Buona, dissetante, soddisfacente. mR_fr0g (13155) - Hertfordshire, ENGLAND - JAN 28, 2016
Bottle is Yosemite lodge. As Yosemite pale ale. Mostly clear orange golden coloured pour with a fading off white head. Aroma is odd grassy citrus, orange rind, little sharp citrus. Flavour is composed of base grains, tangy citrus, little oxidisation, apple, drying finish. Palate is dry, thin, highish carbonation, little mineral. Not a big fan of this. , fkoolen (1321) - Maastricht, NETHERLANDS - DEC 6, 2015

Lee Vining, Ca. - Tioga Mobil - 12 oz bottle. Dark copper pour, medium thick eggshell white head, nice sticky lacing. Very fresh spruce aroma, hints of pineapple. Refreshing flavor with hints of bitter citrus, some caramel malty sweetness, some tropical fruit flavors round it out nicely. Smooth, thick mouthfeel. Enjoyed with my lunch after hiking up Vernal Falls in Yosemite. DedicatedToFun (4000) - Santa Monica, California, USA - JUL 19, 2015
Tap, gold pour, white head, nose and taste are citrus, hoppy, good pale ale overall

"lots of pleasing aroma and flavor from this beer. hoppy, but with a little more malt than i’m used to in a pale, which is nice. recommended...labeled paranoid pale ale. mid to high three once or twice and a straight 3 or less a couple other times...hmmm. Flaske: Orange klar med et stort skumhoved. Drak den også under dens alias, så to styks begge købt på bryggeriet. Let citrus humle og en god del crystalmalt i smagen. Forholdsvis kedelig. theisti (4176) - Kansas, USA - JUN 23, 2014
Enjoyed as Mammoth Yosemite Pale Ale. 12 oz bottle purchased as a single at the Lodgepole general store in Sequoia National Park. The pour is clear golden with a one inch slightly off white head. The aroma is cereal grain malt along with a faint floral, perhaps a bit of orange citrus. The taste is the cereal grain up front, moving towards lightly bitter floral, a bit of orange (though more orange rind than citrus) and a hint of pine. The palate is medium bodied, decent carbonation and mineral bitter in the finish. The bottle wasn’t dated, though I would guess this had a bit of age on it. Regardless, decent enough. nickel (1221) - UKRAINE - MAY 11, 2014
Distinguished aroma of citrus hops. Malty taste with fruity finish. Bitter aftertaste. Good American Pale Ale.
