"Mammoth says theres yeast from piñon pines, which explains the herbal pineyness in the aroma and flavor. Not too wild, but it’s young yet, and works quite well as a nice floral saison. alexsdad06 (11223) - West Chester, Ohio, USA - JUN 21, 2013
22 oz bottle shared with the group. Pours a hazy golden color with a small white head. The aroma has yeast, light funk, grass, light tart character and hints of spice and fruit. The flavor more of a Belgian ale character and no dour notes. It could be a sweet saison as well. Did not meet expectations.

Bottle. Pours gold with a white head. Wheat and straw, a little bit of sweetness, some spicy saison yeast, faint lemon, and a spritz finish. Pretty good. bb (9790) - Alamo, California, USA - MAY 8, 2012
Bottle. Golden beer with a whitish head. Light grain and light yeasty aroma. Tart and grainy flavor with light frutiiness. Medium bodied. Tart and light grain lingers with light fruitiness and light yeast. Not much lacto, but a bit of tartness. BMan1113VR (7930) - Los Angeles, California, USA - JUL 28, 2013
Spring 2013 bottle thanks to TWalls. Pours with a hazed golden yellow hued body and a large fluffy white head with good retention and lace. Aromas are of isoamyl acetate, spruce, herbal hops, peppery phenols, light Brett and pine, medium malt, low fusel alcohol. Something a touch spicy that I cannot place. Flavors are medium malty, biscuity and toasty, mildly earthy, clean, crisp, some earthy and lightly nutty notes, low tartness. Decent saison. Easy to drink. Peppery, earthy, odd spice finish. Not bad at all. A bit of (at least perceived) residual sweetness in the finish.
