[7850-20151023] Cask. Fruity orange citrus peel aroma. Hazy, dark orange body with a medium-lasting bubbly off-white head. Orange peel flavour has a bitter hops base. Medium-full body is quite bitter. Tasty. (7/3/8/4/15) 3.7

650ml bottle from the brewery in Bowmanville, Ontario. Copper in colour with a long lasting off-white head, good lacing. The aroma is of pine, grapefruit, some light caramel sweetness. The flavour is moderately sweet with some caramel, pine hops. Rich, chewy mouthfeel. Finishes long, moderate bitterness. Very good.

I get a big blast of grapefruit on the nose, with more citrus and some pine following. Smells fantastic. Tastes wonderful too, with pine, grapefruit and caramel malts all clamouring for attention. A really good Imperial IPA from my fave local brewers Sammy (13221) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 12, 2015
Nice hoppy aroma. Incredibly smooth mouthfeel for a dipa. Great drinkability. 7 hops ahtanum and mosaic. TheJester (2543) - Cavan Monaghan, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 21, 2015
650 mL bottle from the brewery. Beauty pour - lovely amber colour with a sturdy off-white head. Pine hits you first, second and third in the aroma, but if you’re patient, you get a little grapefruit and some caramel underneath. But mostly pine. The flavour is a little more complex, with resin and grapefruit joining the pine, and the malt making its presence felt a little more assertively. Decent body. A nice Imperial from the kings of the pale ale. Bendrixian (1514) - Canadiana, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 20, 2015
Pours hazy with a dark amber colour. On the palate it has a real piney/pine cone aroma that jumps out of the glass, followed by more pungent hoppy and citrus notes as the beer breathes a little bit. On the palate it is mildy dry with bittering hops and has that freshly hopped flavour. I do find the flavour profile of this beer a bit quick, especially considering the style but other than that it is a tasty treat on a nice June day.
