ChadPoole (479) - Ontario, CANADA - APR 24, 2016
Pours dark murky brown with a small beige head. Strong pine aroma with hints of hops. Roasted malts and coffee with hops flavors and a good amount of bitter. Great beer. solidfunk (9816) - Washington D.C., Washington DC, USA - OCT 26, 2015
Good roast. Mostly on the stout side of the equation. Pours black with good head and lacing. Bitter finish. Some pine in here. Cask Days. Lubiere (14429) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 25, 2015
A deep dark IPA with a thin mocha head. In aroma, sweet fruity chocolate malt with light grassy floral hops, grapefruit pulp, nice. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity chocolate malt with light grassy floral hops, grapefruit pulp, light nutty notes, pleasant. Cask Days 2015. Tranquillity (2640) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 25, 2015
Cask at cask days, Toronto. Aroma of malt, sweet licorice. The taste is extremely hoppy, the beer completely black with almost no head. Too much hops and smoke combined.

Overheard: "Orange Crescent... Yeah, like the fruit."
2015-03-14. Black body with a nice tan head. 3++ Aroma is interesting, very musky green hops over dark malt, whispers of molasses. Flavour is similar, light roast, toasty malt. Moderate bitterness throughout. Smooth average bodied palate, soft carbonation. Okay, I enjoy it but it is sort of mild overall. Bottle shared by someone at treehugger’s tasting. bomber from brewery. Pours blackish colour. I find the aroma very upfront citrus hops and some caramel toast in the background with bit of coffee toast. On the palate that mix of citrus hops with coffee bitterness are well integrated. good length and very tasty. GlennHendry (556) - OSHAWA, Ontario, CANADA - MAR 1, 2015
UPDATED: OCT 2, 2016 Looks like a Stout, smells like a Stout, with a fantastic aroma of chocolate pie, licorice nibs and ripe citrus. More of the same on the tongue, with roasted coffee. Smooth with a dry finish.
