Lightly hazy copper-amber colored body, medium sized light tan head, soapy lacing. Toffee, fresh baked bread, yeasty stone-fruit esters, light caramel, light earthy and floral bitterness. Medium to full bodied, semi-sweet, mild bitterness, slightly boozy, lingering finish. BiddleBrau (1221) - Fort Washington, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 18, 2013
On tap at brewery. Looks nice copper with off white head. Clean malt nose. This is nice. Full malt flavor, dark fruit, molasses and roast flavors meld well. Hops step up to balance finish. This is well crafted. reggiedunlop (3726) - The dub c, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 4, 2013
Pours a hazy amber/ruby color with a thick tan head...very nice retention and lacing. Aroma has notes of dough, caramel, candied fruits, and citrus. Flavor has candied fruit up front and is quickly dominated by agressive earthy/resiny hoppiness and booziness. Mouthfeel is medium/full and sticky with a candied fruit/resiny/earthy very bitter and warming finish that leans towards medicinal.
