on tap at Manayunk brewing, poured into pint glass
a: golden/amber hue, prickly head with decent retention. leaves lacing rings around the glass
s: citrusy and piney hop aroma dominates
t: surprisngly well balanced DIPA. sweet malt is only slightly overpowered by pine and citrus hops. This reminds more more of an English IPA with more fermentables and american hops. alchohol is well hidden.
m&d: light to medium bodied, well carbonated. Very drinkable beer for its ABV and can get you in touble with the sweetness.
strong citrusy and piney hop aromas. gold and hazy in color with decent head. taste is hop forward with citrus and pine notes, faint malt notes present. jgb9348 (6250) - Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia, USA - OCT 14, 2016
Hazy orange and copper coloured body with a thinnish, two centimetre tall off-white head. Aroma of hops, light malt, some alcohol and resin and a good deal of sugars from caster sugar. Medium-bodied; Strong rich flavour of malt, sugar and a touch of hops - not too much there here, though. Aftertaste shows some citrus, grapefruit, resin, pine and a lot of malt - some residual sugars as well, but there isn’t much hops in here, despite the flavours. Overall, a fairly mild Imperial IPA with some decent flavours, but not enough complexity nor sheer flavours. Nice to sample, but with all the other options, this isn’t worth your while or your bucks. I sampled this sixteen ounce can purchased from Gat Beer in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on 02-July-2016 for US$4,00 sampled at home in Washington a few hours before leaving back for Philadelphia on 13-October-2016. 16 ounce can via trade with dandywolffloyd. Thanks! The beer is a hazy gold with a white head of soapy looking foam. The aroma has floral oranges, some orange rind bitterness, and some resinous notes. The taste started out being sweet and sugary, but it really dries out and gets fairly bitter. Medium body and medium carbonation. Sort of slick mouthfeel. raymow (1650) - Bensalem, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 9, 2015
on tap at the brewpub - pale golden color. Great hop aroma and flavor. A very good double IPA. reberiii (498) - Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 21, 2015
Surprising. Big notes of orange, pine, all within a orange colored brew with two fingers of foam from can. West coast style, dry finish, grapefruit bitter. Strong bitter throughout. Bit of a pallette wrecker.

This was poured into a tulip.
The appearance was a nice looking semi-hazy burnt yellow color with a slim finger’s worth of white foamy head that dissipated within less than thirty seconds. Light speckled lacing weaves its way around the glass in a messy sort of way.
The smell has a nice blend of sweet pineapple, light mango, a little bit of orange and a slight bitter pine hops.
The taste was mainly bitter with a semi-sweet dry citrus effect roaming across my tongue. There’s no aftertaste but has a quick dry citrus finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it. Carbonation comes across fairly well as a DIPA. Biter citrus rind hits my tongue decently.
Overall, as a DIPA it works. It’s a little more dry than some other DIPA’s I’ve had. Still good for the most part. FROTHINGSLOSH (7796) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 1, 2015
Sampled from a 12 oz can this beer poured a bright golden color with an enormous foamy tan head that lingered and left good lacing. The aroma was gritty, leafy, piney and floral hops. The flavor was gritty, leafy, piney and floral hops. All hops with nothing to back it up. Medium length finish. Medium body. Alcohol well hidden. Ok. skmikeg (1826) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 7, 2015
Pours birhgt orange with a foamy two finger off white head with nice lacing. Aroma is of citrus, tropical fruits, pine, sweet malts, and some light bready malts. Taste is about the same as the aroma. Has a meidum body with a semi creamy mouthfeel and a moderately bitter, semi dry, medium-long finish. Overall, a pretty nice DIPA. jcartamdg (3436) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 4, 2015
Pours an golden orange with a thick white head. Aroma of bitter citrus with a mild malt presence. Taste is a hop bomb in the best way possible. Loads of citrus and tropical fruit. Very tasty. Jasond612 (282) - Phila, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 14, 2014
8/8/14. Manyunk brewing was at CBO but didn't have a tasting of this so I asked an bought the last can they had for sale. More sweetness than hops. Where's the HOPS?!?!?!
