I poured it from the can into a glass. It pours a pale orange with a fizzy, off-white head and some lacing. The aroma was sour pumpkin, apple, and grass. It wasn't very pleasant. The taste was off. It was sour pumpkin, lemon, and metal. It was thin and fizzy. Some of these pumpkin beers rely too heavily on the spice. This one could have used some more to cover up the weaknesses. This wasn't good. beerbomb (232) - Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 7, 2015
can-aroma is odd-must be very pumpkiny-getting a lot of baked vegetable/grassy and woody/earthy aroma with some toffee and nutmeg/spices. flavor is very smooth-some odd soy sauce like cooked vegetable presence with woody spices, toffee and almost a coffee flavor-not too sour or bitter. very smooth-interesting- i think this has a lot more pumpkin than most ’pumpkin beers’ - points for being authentic- would like to try it fresher... e303 (287) - - SEP 25, 2015
Nice little pumpkin beer. Pleasant aroma of cinnamon and nutmeg. Slightly bitter as far as pumpkin beers go in the taste. Good carbonation.

12 ounce can. Amber orange with a rich creamy beige head. Fragrant clove and cinnamon nose with vegetal notes. Flavor is lightly bitter with pumpkin and light spice. The spice is pleasantly understated here. Light body makes this easygoing and refreshing. Finish is dry with clove and cinnamon on the tongue. dlovell2 (2315) - Columbia, Maryland, USA - SEP 21, 2015

12 oz can poured into pint glass. Thin white head gone very quickly. Aroma is squash aka pumpkin. Taste is squash or pumpkin. Very little spice. Light to moderate carbonation. Easy finish. Over all good pumpkin ale especially if you are into the true squashy pumpkin taste rather then "pumkin spice" skmikeg (1826) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 13, 2015
Pours burnt orange with a tan off white head which fades to very little lacing. Aroma is of pumpkin, pie spices, sweet malts, bready malts, caramel, and some sour, overly ripe fruit notes. Taste is about the same as the aroma. Has a medium-light body with a semi watery mouthfeel and a slightly sour, but mostly sweet, medium-short finish. Overall, a disappointing pumpkin ale that some off sour notes and is too watery. samsmith33 (772) - - AUG 28, 2015
Can to pint glass. Aroma is atrocious. Sour ,moldy type smell. Almost urine.
The good news is that it does not taste anywhere near as bad as it smells. Lots of fall spices early... nutmeg, allspice, cinnamon....and full pumpkin flavour later. Some alka seltzer like aftertaste. Feel is flat.

Can at the brewery in Manayunk. Not very good. Hazy cloudy pumpkin color. Metallic taste to the beer. Also a little bit of sour, lactic acid.
