Mandarin beer (the only one I know of) with thin, snow white, coarse head and very pale yellow blonde colour with somewhat greenish hue, clear but hazy after adding the deposit, little sparkling but some large protein flakes show up in the end. Aroma of Mandarine Napoléon, apple peel, peach, gooseberry, rubber and cough syrup. Delicate sweetness in the onset (vanilla?) with a delicate, lively and incentive perfume of mandarin liqueur rather than real mandarins, light and smooth maltiness, low carbo and thin mouthfeel, light sourishness, finish with very weak floral hoppiness, not bitter at all, dryish and medicinal and otherwise rather watery. Another strange Mortal’s concoction, too bad they don’t exist anymore - I, for one, miss this brewery. gunnfryd (15330) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - NOV 26, 2012
