COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Medaille d’Or Concours General Agricole

Bottle - Lots of barnyard funk. Cloudy gold with some floaties and a nice bubbly white head. Barnyard and nice light apple sweetness. Touch of acidity and a long manure barnyard finish.

Dorado limpio y espuma blanca ligera.

750ml bottle (Siidrimaja, Tallinn) - thanks Kairi!
Nice stable straw and dry apple aroma. Gold, petilant. Light palate, a bit fizzy, would be a good aperitif. Pleasant dry apple skins, some more stable, a bit rubbery. Quite complex, and refreshing. Closer to an English scrumpy than a French Normandy cidre.

750 c&c from Wine & Cheese in Clayton, MO. Pours light hazy gold, tho the clear bottle looks a bit orange. Aroma is somewhat earthy apple. Near med body. It starts a bit sweet, moves on to some woody, earthy, astringency. Finishes that way more or less. Again it compares well to Normandy ciders. It seem rather farmhouse that way. Nice drink.

degbert (1776) - Austin, Texas, USA - JUL 10, 2015
Bottle. Pours a gorgeous deep orange-gold with a ring head. Nose is winery floor, green apple, blue cheese, nuts, and barnyard; apparently the cider maker swears there’s no brett in here, but it sure smells like it. On the tongue, it’s soft and sweet; there’s tannic and drying elements from the whole apple fermentation, set off nicely by deeply perfumed vanilla and nutmeg. The finish is well structured and elegant. Delicious.
