This will not be for everyone but for those in search of adventure this will not disappoint. Must be poured from 20 cm above glass, very effervescent white head will calm down with time and the aroma of horse and leather prevails. Taste of sweet slightly overripe apple comes through sweet on the tongue with huge complexity of earthy wood savoury flavours, and then becomes more astringent ending with expensive champagne - like chalky finish. There’s lots here to enjoy for the intrepid drinker. FatPhil (17513) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - SEP 9, 2016
750ml bottle (Siidrimaja, Tallinn) - thanks Kairi!beerplace (2397) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUN 15, 2016
Same horse stable straw funk, mellow sweet apple flesh. Misty gold. Fullish sweetness, crisp carbonation. Nice farmhousey wood-aged drying. Pleasanty tanniny, some apple skin bitterness, even leaves a bit of a tingle on the tongue. Massive drinkability. Super mellow, but not lacking character.
750ml bottle at Matt’s. Pours hazy blonde qith a white head. Aroma is funky with some fermented apple notes. Taste is sweety, very dry, smoky. Smoky, tart aftertaste.

Pours a light amber colour. Bit of smoked cheese on the nose, with lots of funk. Taste is dry, with a bright effervescence and some nice balancing tartness. Basque-like, but with carb. Ferris (17800) - Burnaby, British Columbia, CANADA - JUN 15, 2016
Bottle - Lots of farmhouse notes, sweetness and a touch of manure. Cloudy gold with a decent white head. Funky, dry and Apple peel with a touch of sweetness. Tons of farmhouse notes. mcberko (20305) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUN 15, 2016
750mL bottle, pours a cloudy golden with a small white head. Aroma is extremely funky, with lots of stinky feet, funk and barnyard. Flavour is very funky and sweet, with lots of dry champagne-y notes upfront, followed by lots of barnyard funk and a pretty high amount of residual sweetness. Despite the high sweetness, this is really nice. bhensonb (16139) - Woodland, California, USA - MAR 4, 2016
750 c&c from Wine & Cheese in Clayton, MO. Pours translucent gold with a fizzy white head. Interesting aroma of apple and golden apple skins. Mild. Freshish. Med body almost. Flavor is quite ripe apple - seems more golden than not. Again there is a woody, astringent aspect - tho it’s not excessively dry. It’s making me think of Norman farmhouse cider. Specifically Le Verger de Giverny. Which I now think I should have rated a bit higher. French cider seems ever quite good. Rasmus40 (22697) - Beder, Aarhus, DENMARK - AUG 15, 2015
