Sampled at GABF 2015 in Denver. In the sample glass hazy yellow gold with a white head. Nose of citrus and flowers. Medium body. Flavor runs to Belgian yeast esters with citrus and some spiciness. Finishes with mild bitterness. Pretty good. fordest (2470) - Santee/San Diego, California, USA - SEP 17, 2015
Draft at the Santee Bluegrass Festival. Decent hops and Belgian yeasts on the nose. The yellow gold pour had a decent head. Flavors were about as expected and aligned well with the aromas. blipp (9268) - La Mesa, California, USA - AUG 17, 2015
Draft at Tom Hamm’s Lighthouse. Pours orange with a white head. Fruity hops with a decent dose of spicy Celgian yeast, light peachy notes, mild-moderate bitterness, hints of citrus, and a lightly bitter hoppy finish. Balanced and quite drinkable. oRos (1675) - sacramento, California, USA - NOV 30, 2014

Bottle from Capitol Beer & Tap Room. Pours blonde with a huge white head that quickly subsided and a citrus aroma. There is a carbonated pale malt flavor that is a bit sour with a huge yeast presence and a dry finish.

GABF 2014. Labeled as "Bretween" rather than Between. A dry ipa, Belgian yeast I believe, it is in the character of a Belgian ipa. Yellow color. ok. joeneugs (6371) - Livermore, California, USA - OCT 11, 2014
On tap at Beer Thirty. It pours a cloudy yellow color with a white head. The aroma has some light grapefruit, lemon peel and florals. Faint peppery phenolics and fruity esters. The flavor is soft and grapefruity with some mild pepper and esters. Citrus and more grapefruit in the finish. Moderately bitter and peppery. Not bad. o_Merlin_o (225) - San Diego, California, USA - AUG 29, 2014
On tap at Slaters 50/50. Pours a golden yellow with a giant fuzzy white head. Excellent lacing. Aroma of orange peel and hops. Definite creamy body. Goes down smoothy. Looks are definitely deceiving with this one. Tastes like a creamy ale, but looks like a light beer. Great beer!

Poured straight from the fridge and I get 8 10ths foam, 2 10ths beer? No matter., the colour is a hazy light orange, the foam you already know aboot, the lacing isn’t all that grand.
The smell is yeasty, sweetish from the malt, I don’t really get much of what the IPA brings in the smell.
The taste is yeasty, has almost a funk like character, a bit of sweetness, but the hops sure do show up in the taste. I can taste the citra influence; an abundance of tropical fruity goodness. Read some other reviews how they play out. It certainly is a very dry beer, And, a very enjoyable and very drinkable beer. This, imho, is outstanding.
I’ve never even heard of the brewery but this caught my attention after the very first sip.
Back down, pineapple! Nah, never mind.
A great mouthfeel rounds out this very fine brew. For me, this is one of THE finds of 2014.

Deep gold pour, white head. Tropical fruits hit the tongue up front...mango, lychee, pineapple, caramel malts. Flavors are integrated well in this. Good beer.
