COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Chaotic is the seasonal release we just couldnt let go of. A hop aficionado’s dream with so many additions that we had to redesign our brew logs to fit them all in. The light gold pour has a slight haze that betrays the extensive dry-hopping in each batch. This onslaught tags the entire spectrum of hop aromatics with an especially notable citrus medley including grapefruit and tangelo. Brewed by San Diego hopheads for San Diego hopheads, Chaotic is captivatingly so. Double dry-hopped for a huge hop aroma that includes Pine, Tangerine and Grapefruit. Great beer for first time IPA drinkers and seasoned hop heads. Medium-full body and a balancing sweetness help keep the high ABV in line. Hops: Chinook, Cascade, Columbus, Centennial. Malt: 2-Row Barley, Dextrin Malt.

Lattina.

Bottle, shared with Parksy. Red-orange body, off white head. Ripe tropical fruit, a bit of melon, light caramel, long bitter finish. Nice.

12 oz can into a Sierra Nevada glass. Pours with a clear copper colored body topped by a decent off-white head. Moderately strong hoppy aroma with a strong hop flavor favoring citrus notes -- lots of citrus. Ample malt here too, leaving the beer just moderately+ bitterness and adding some caramel and faint baked bread. Still, this is markedly hop dominant, as expected for style. Lingering, fairly strong, bitter grapefruit peel aftertaste. Medium body with medium-high carbonation and a dry finish.

On tap, 33cl. Clear ruby with a creamy tan head. Aromas of roasted caramel, green apples, resin, alcohol. Sweet and bitter, with a heavy malt backbone and a stinging bitterness. Pleasant, but somewhat amateurish.

Burk.

Draft @ beertemple. Aroma of strong boozy caramel and peach. Taste has peach at first, but than the malt kicks in, with lots of caramel punch. Some pine as well. Nice, but a bit too malty.

Poured from 12 oz. can. Cloudy, orange-amber with a 2-finger khaki head and good lacing. Aroma of pine, caramel, citrus and some tropical fruit. Taste of pine resin, orange, caramel, grapefruit, pineapple and tropical fruit. Bitter resin, tropical fruit and caramel are the most prominent and lingering flavored. Medium/full body and medium carbonation. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
