Clear orange reddish pour with a thin off white head .... Aroma is of clove, cinnamon and a sweet syrupy/maltyness as well .... Taste is of light spices/cinnamon and clove and sweet syrup and sweet malts .... Has a slight bitter hop bite on the back end .... Finish has a lingering sweet malt and light spices..... Recipe Needs some help. Spices come out more as it warms. mjg74 (3093) - La Mesa, California, USA - MAY 13, 2012
Bomber from Casa De Oro. Tart, almost vinous nose. A hint of spice as well. Quite dry and somewhat saison-like. Decent spice. Highly carbonated. 2011 edition. 8.8%. Alcohol is quite well hidden. bergstaden (2935) - Røros, NORWAY - AUG 14, 2015

UPDATED: DEC 8, 2013 Re-rated 12-08-2013, previous rating deleted as this ale has completely changed. 650 ml bottle from Sprouts. Pours a cloudy orange-brown color with a small off-white head that soon recedes to a splotchy film. The aroma is quite strong with pumpkin pie spices of nutmeg, clove, allspice and a bit of cinnamon. The taste, like the nose, is over-the-top pumpkin pie spices with nutmeg and allspice in the forefront. Amber malts, and a touch of cocoa, richly fill in the back and sides. The palate was full and a bit oily and the carbonation was lively. Finishes long with lingering cloves. Overall: Since inception this brewski has really intensified--its an altogether different beer. On tap @ Telegraph Canyon Club: poured a dark glowing orange hue with a thin formation of foam head. The aroma smells similar to that of pumpkin pie that has a heavy base of pumpkin puree and an assortment of spices. The drink is well balanced and carries a strong backbone of malts while dashes of spice come up throughout the drink but aren’t overbearing. I really enjoy how smooth the palate is and how refined the drink goes down the hatch for being a pumpkin beer recipe. This pumpkin beer is one of the better ones on the market and delivers some serious alcohol to the bloodstream. I already know this is for sure going to give me a hangover tomorrow.
