This bottled brew from a bottle shop was served at a cool temperature and poured a very small sized head of foamy fine to medium sized white colored bubbles that were long lasting and left behind a typically carbonated body semi-hazy dark yellow orange colored body and a very good lacing. The strong aroma was hoppy musty and wheat. The crisp mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish mild hoppy aftertaste. The thick flavor contained notes of wheat dough hops and malt. A wonderful best in class brew. bigben873 (257) - Virginia, USA - JUL 12, 2017
Very smooth but not malty double. Big taare but not like any other imperial I have had. Never would have guessed "wheat" blankboy (7689) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 11, 2017
[my bottle (660ml) shared w/ HogTownHarry, GregClow, jercraigs & mabel] Pours a deep golden-orange with a small lasting frothy white head. Minimal lacing. Aroma (7+) of caramel malt and a good amount of hops along with some fruit and great -- kind of Wheat Wine-ish. Slightly sweet fruity and malty flavour along with wheat and hops. A bit of alcohol but relatively well hidden. Average bitter finish. Medium bodied. Really good. Dockurty (18) - Indiana, USA - JUL 9, 2017
2017 rating. The bummer I purchased was six months old. It might've affected the taste quite a bit, but beyond the malt from age there's a really high-quality double IPA. Well hold final judgment for a fresh batch.

Bottle. Poured hazy golden yellow with moderate head. Funky/earthy orange, lime, lemon, caramel malt and grapefruit peel aroma. Very sweet orange, lime, lemon, caramel malt, and moderately bitter grapefruit peel flavor. Nice body and balance. Nice.

From tap. Hazy golden orange with a full off white head. Citrus, piney nose. Citrus and tropical fruit flavors, grass, resin. Sticky finish. Name notwithstanding I don’t get a ton of wheat here. NZJoe (26) - NEW ZEALAND - JUN 14, 2017
Poured from a 650ml bottle. Drunk 2 months after bottling. Smells nice but not too strong. Has a big fluffy head. First sip is actually a bit offensive, maybe I wasnt expecting this. I think thats coming from the Mandarina Bavaria, this gives it a real fruity element but not like with most IPAs that are kind of a juicy, tropical fruit. Alcohol level is definitely up front. Bitter, but nothing unmanageable. Not a bad beer but not one I would get again. The wheat is a bit non-existent, and the palate just takes a bit too much to get used to. Cloudy amber orange color. Orange and citrus aroma. Big on palate with citrus and pine notes, slight sweet finish and aftertaste. Moderately full body and heaviness.

22 ounce bottle. Amber orange pour is topped by a large frothy beige head and clinging lace. Rich toasted malt nose has fruity notes. Toasted malt flavor has buttery, caramel notes. Spicy hops are complex with hints of red berry, orange, lime and coconut. Bittersweet hop finish is very tasty. Nicely done.
