COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Kick back and crank it up as weve done all the brewingthe we being us and the special guest appearances of two heavy hitters in the indie craft beer industry: New Mexicos Marble and Colorados Odell. Credited with 58 years of brewing chops, our trio built their wheat ale foundation on the classic C hops. Then, we rocked a pure hop triad of M hops to achieve a supercharged succession of orange, tangerine, lemon, lime, spice and dankness. The undulating riffs of Motueka, Mosaic and Mandarina Bavaria hops slash through the wheat haze with equal footing, never playing over one another. The cacophony of flavor is what fans would expect with a name like Megawheat. So join us as we forge ahead on a path that directly leads to the main stageand then off the front of it, into the crowd! If you feel the urge to smash the bottle afterward, dont. Thats what guitars are for.

22oz bomber. Filtered honey-orange-tan body. Thin white head. Wow, now thats a nice IIPA. Clean and supremely drinkable for the ABV. World Class. Lots of hop depth. Too bad this isnt categorized as American Wheat, because it would own that category..it actually has those flavor notes. The filtration really keeps it clean, and allow the hops to shine. Honey nectar delicate juicy hops, but some underlying bitterness too. Flawless brewing.

Shared bomber poured to snifters showing a clear, orangey gold color, with a presentable layer of soft white froth, and foamy spots of lacing. The nose was barleywine-like malt, and sweetness that was somewhat candy-like, dried fruit, some orange zest & tropical hints, and lurking alcohol. The taste was similar, medium bodied, with good carbonation, modest bitterness, some booze, and finishing dryness. Nicely balanced collaboration.

22oz bottle. I was a bit hesitant about this particular beer when I picked it up, but Im a sucker for trying new Stone beers, so why not. This poured a really clear, clean amber color with a medium sized, fluffy slightly off-white head. Aroma is a blast of tropical fruit notes, lots of mango, orange juice. Flavor was light bitter hops - delicious citrus notes. Really nicely balanced - theres not a lot of heat here, which is really nice. Highly drinkable. They hit this one out of the park in my opinion.

Mango and tangerine nose, not real strong. Clear amber, medium yellow head, good retention. Mango and orange, lillies and lemongrass also present. Medium body, easy carbonation. Nice hop bill, dangerously drinkable, great balance and texture. Very well made.

Bottle. Golden with one finger head. Ive been disappointed with a lot of recent Stone bombers lately, but this was very good. Light to medium body, just a bit of booze. Mild sweetness. Feels like the wheat smooths it out a bit. Big punchy hops, solid fruity flavors of tropical and citrus.

22 ounce bottle into tulip glass, bottled on 1/10/2017. Pours slightly hazy/cloudy medium golden yellow color with a 1-2 finger dense and rocky white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice dense soapy lacing clings around the glass. Aromas of big lemon, lime, tangerine, pineapple, peach, apricot, papaya, passion fruit, mango, melon, berry, grapefruit, citrus zest, light pepper/pine, wheat, cracker, bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/tropical/fruity hops and moderate pale malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big lemon, lime, tangerine, pineapple, peach, apricot, papaya, passion fruit, mango, melon, berry, grapefruit, citrus zest, light pepper/pine, wheat, cracker, bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine/herbal/spicy/citrus peel bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of lemon, lime, tangerine, pineapple, peach, apricot, papaya, passion fruit, mango, melon, berry, grapefruit, citrus zest, light pepper/pine, wheat, cracker, bread, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/tropical/fruity hops and moderate pale malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and zero astringent hop flavors after the finish. Light-moderate dryness from bitterness, increasing through the glass. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately bready/grainy/sticky, fairly crisp, and lightly resinous balanced mouthfeel that is awesome. Minimal warming alcohol for 8.4%. Overall this is an excellent DIPA! All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/tropical/fruity hops and moderate pale malt flavors; very smooth and fairly crisp, clean, and refreshing to drink. Nice bright, juicy, and dank on hop flavors; with a nice malt backbone that is never sweet or heavy. A really enjoyable offering.
