Tap at Marble in manchester. Pours a bit hazy golden with small white head. Low carbonation, easy to drink. Some malty and hoppy aroma. Slightly watery-flat in flavor between some malts and hops. Not much sweetness. Flat on palate and finish is short bitter. KnutAlbert (6791) - Oslo, NORWAY - APR 15, 2009
Cask at the Knott, Manchester.
Colden beer, pleasantly drinkable.
Well balanced between the malt and the bitterness, but nothing to make it really stand out. DJMonarch (9179) - Northwich, Cheshire, ENGLAND - FEB 10, 2006

Golden coloured with a hazy appearance. Some sour fruit flavour. Bitter slightly dry finish. Gazza (727) - Worcester, Worcestershire, ENGLAND - JUL 14, 2005
Cask in Marble, Manchester at the beer’s launch party. Rich, strong hop and bitter aroma and taste with a good balancing maltiness and a very drying finish. Apparently they may tweak the recipe a bit, but it’s OK by me... MrWalker (926) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - JAN 31, 2005

According to Camra National Winter Ale Festival programme this is to replace Cloudy Marble and N4. It’s very hoppy. Pleasant initially, but a bit overwhelming in the end. Still it had a slight sweetness. Amazing for a beer at this strength. Maybe served a bit young.
