Bottle @ Deans pale lager tasting, courtesy of jmgreenuk. Gusher!! Pours a black beer with a creamy, beige head on top. Aroma is dark roasted, chocolate and a touch of vanilla. Flavor is very full for such low abv, big on the roasty characters with a big chocolate backbone. Very enjoyable beer for sure! kermis (14494) - The Hague / Amsterdam, NETHERLANDS - NOV 8, 2013

Bottle from Cotteridge Wines; dark brown pour with substantial beige head, sweet chocolate aroma, chocolate taste with some sweetness a hint of coffee roasted malts with mild carbonation. PaulW (105) - Southampton, Hampshire, ENGLAND - AUG 16, 2013
Hearty porter with a big chocolaty aroma. Well carbonated. Hops not much in evidence and a lot of the balance comes from the roasted grains. Good full taste with hints of dark and milk chocolate.

Enjoyed a glass from CasK at the Marble Arch .. . mild chocolate presence, cocoa powder and cooking chocolate .. . light palate .. . overall quite good but rather one dimensional .. . . I think it’s stupid that Pepto Bismol comes with a little disposable shot glass,
but chocolate syrup doesn’t. like, who parties with Pepto? jmgreenuk (9870) - Kuala Lumpur, MALAYSIA - MAY 19, 2013
Bottle from Bernie’s Real Ale Off License, Solihull. Poured a dark mahogany colour with a frothy tan head. The aroma is dry roasted malt. The flavour is strong bitter with bags of liqourice and dark chocolate. The palace is dry spicy and with some pepper in the finish. daniele (9573) - ITALY - APR 27, 2013
Scura buona schiuma piuttosto persistente cioccolato lieve caffe un tocco di liquirizia piuttosto secca con una buona luppolatura finale quasi pepata ianwelby (1488) - SCOTLAND - APR 20, 2013
Pours a near-black red, with a thin creamy head. Scent is strong chocolate malt. It’s a full-bodied beer, with a deep chocolatey taste and a toasty edge to it and the malt lingers on the tongue. A very hearty beer. jamestulloch (4276) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - APR 1, 2013
Aroma: Double cream, milky coffee and chocolate ice-cream. Subtle blueberry note, too.
Appearance: Black body with faint ruby highlights. Dense cream head. Light lacing.
Taste: The main flavour is milk chocolate and the supporting flavours are black pepper, ash, butter and cappuccino. Smooth balance and quite sweet.
Palate: Thin to medium body with a luscious, creamy mouthfeel. Flat carbonation.
Overall: A creamy, interesting Porter - I’d probably have this again.
