Clear dark brown to black beer, no noticeable head, just some bubbles. Aroma: lots of mocha, coffee, some carame. MF: no carbon, light body. Taste: some caramel, toast, mocha, little fruity. Aftertaste: bit of dark chocolate, mocha and coffee. Pretty watery in all.
Bottle. Smooth looking pitch black beer with a light head. The aroma is lightly roasted with yeasty elements, and the flavour is roasted and bitter with a lack of sweetness. Overall a quite plain bitter and roasted stout.

Dark Black with a red tint and a lasting tan creamy head. Smells of soft roast, chocolate and berry. Creamy full oily body. Strong taste of berry, sweet malt with a dry roast finish. Not much chocolate in here. More nutty. Very drinkable and smooth. I really liked it.

Bottle @ 5th ACBF 2012. A black colored beer, with a beige head. The aroma of some fruits with chocolate. The taste is gentle bitter with some sweet fruits and chocolate in the back The aftertaste is some bitter with notes of chocolate. jackl (8271) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - JAN 28, 2012
Cask. Deep brown with a small tan head. The aroma’s full of roasted malts, some sweet chocolate, leather. The taste is mildly dry and bitter, then gives way to mild espresso and coffee notes. Approachable. The body’s pretty light for the style, the carbonation quite soft. Overall, OK, though a bit underpowered. Benjii (3049) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - JAN 19, 2012
On cask at the Marble Arch. Pours a very dark brown colour with a decent, light tan head. Aroma of chocolate, coffee and caramel. Similar flavours with choc milk upfront and roasty malt. Nice and bitter with lingering chocolate. Moderate carbonation and an oily mouth-feel. Very nice. grunx (367) - - JAN 19, 2012
Lleugera Porter per prendre millor a l’estiu. Agradable post gust amarg i seqcant. dreadnord (1012) - San Diego, California, USA - JAN 13, 2012
Pours thick and black. Huge off white head. Nose is hoppy and coffee. I’m not getting any chocolate as the name implies. Maybe it’s to young and the hips is overwhelming it. Flavor transitions from bitter to sweet. Mouthfeel is a bit to sharp as well. I’d like a bit more creaminess from a beer that boasts chocolate.
