Clear dark brown color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white and red head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel, grape, cherry, berries. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet, moderate acidic and modrate to light heavy bitter with a average to long duration, cherry. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
Bottle from beermerchants.com.
Very dark red, reddish head. Sweet and sour aroma. Pronounced cherry flavour, fuller beer base than a kriek is supposed to have. Coffee.
Reminds me of a cherry-filled chocolate. OleR (4801) - Oslo, NORWAY - DEC 7, 2010
Corked 0.75L bottle, shared by KnutAlbert. Tall reddish hued tan head. Body is near black opaque, with a ruddy glow when holding it up to light. Nice smell of chocolate coated sour cherries. Also a note a cookies and burnt caramel. More chocolate and jammy cherries in the flavor. Light acidic and funky. A pleasant astingent mouthfeel. Fine effervecence. Surprisingly light in body and easy drinkable. Short, light tart cherry finish. Overall a very interesting , well composed and tasty fruit beer. oh6gdx (26485) - Vasa, FINLAND - JUL 3, 2010
