Bottle. Poured pale with a creamy off-white head that left good lacing. Aroma of malt and resin hop with a slight hint of grain. The flavor found floral and resin hops with a light malt backing. Medium body and a medium bitterness. Ratman197 (14952) - Arvada, Colorado, USA - OCT 27, 2011
Bomber poured a clear gold with a lasting white head. Aromas of biscuit, earthiness, skunk bud, pine and grapefruit zest. Palate was medium bodied and smooth with a dry finish. Flavors of biscuit, earthiness, skunk bud, pine and grapefruit with a smooth dry bitter lingering dank skunk bud finish. 3fourths (9349) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - OCT 12, 2011
bottle. gold color. pale malt toastiness buried by bright american high-acid citrus and pine hops. medium-thick body, decent malt structure, bright and snappy across the back. a bit too chewy / syrupy but otherwise clean and drinkable. thirdeye11 (6160) - Dallas, Texas, USA - OCT 8, 2011
(Growler thanks to jyoungsbcp) bright gold with no head. Nose is dank, grapefruit, orange, citrus rind, light lime, and a bit of alcohol. Taste of bitter citrus rind, grapefruit, not super balanced, very bitter finish, and uncarbonated for the most part. Beershine (5224) - VANCOUVER, British Columbia, CANADA - OCT 5, 2011
Draft @ brewery tap. 24K gold color with nice lacing. Chewy aroma smells big with piney hop. Big juicy body carries the hop well, which remains in the pine pocket. One of the better ones in the lineup.

Golden. Thin head. Minty, leafy, slightly fruity aroma. Lots of bitterness. Light herbal, fruity hop character. Pale malts provide a little bit of balance. A decent example, not too rich. Mora2000 (6158) - McKinney, Texas, USA - SEP 25, 2011
Thanks to jjfoodie for sharing this bottle.
The beer pours a yellowish-gold color with a white head. The aroma is awesome. I get a lot of pine, oranges and papaya. An extremely fruity smelling Double IPA. I also get a little bit of biscuit malt in the aroma.
The flavor is just as nice. I get quite a bit of resinous pine, which mixes nicely with tropical fruit such as pineapple and papaya. The bitterness level is about medium. A very easy drinking Double IPA.
Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation. alexsdad06 (10471) - West Chester, Ohio, USA - SEP 11, 2011
Draft (from notes). Pours a clear golden amber color with a medium sized white head. The aroma is big citrus hops that remind me of mandarin oranges. The flavor has the big citrus component as well with enough sweeter caramel malt to add balance. Very drinkable, more like an IPA than a double. Overall, pretty nice. smaynard6000 (1180) - Apopka, Florida, USA - SEP 1, 2011
Pours a bright gold with a foamy white head. Intense hop aroma and flavor. Light bodied and leaves a touch of resin on the palate. I enjoyed this one a lot. Rosebud butternuts (2396) - Denton, Texas, USA - AUG 20, 2011
