Thanks to jjfoodie for sharing this bottle.
The beer pours a yellowish-gold color with a white head. The aroma is awesome. I get a lot of pine, oranges and papaya. An extremely fruity smelling Double IPA. I also get a little bit of biscuit malt in the aroma.
The flavor is just as nice. I get quite a bit of resinous pine, which mixes nicely with tropical fruit such as pineapple and papaya. The bitterness level is about medium. A very easy drinking Double IPA.
Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation. notalush (5910) - Lakewood, Colorado, USA - MAY 23, 2010
Meh, this is a pretty standard dipa for me - clear golden pour - thick, lasting head - fresh, peppery, herbal, minty hop aroma start things off on a positive note - the flavor doesn’t live up to this - it might not be as sweet as some dipas, but it is still fairly sweet for my taste, especially in the finish - bitter but not abrasive - decent earth hop flavor - not too bad, but not stand out - a bit of a let down, since I thought their regular ipa was fantastic. nearbeer (5565) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - NOV 1, 2010
Bomber dated 10-06-10. Hazy, burnt orange with a lasting cap of cream. Nose of orange blossom honey, fresh grain, and juicy citrus. Light-medium body is a bit too watery, but smoothly carbonated and well-dried by the hops. Flavor is resin, grapefruit, Honey-nut Cheerios, and some oak in the long finish. stevoj (5440) - Boise, Idaho, USA - JAN 27, 2016
On tap at brewery. Fairly gentle hop aroma on a cloudy orange/golden pour. Skin of head leads into big hop bite. Sharp, short, but potent. Makes my cheeks flush. Tasty, but pungent aroma enough to make this a sipper. mar (5437) - Dallas, Texas, USA - DEC 22, 2011
bottle thanks to jjfoodie. crisp gold with a white head. hops, florals, citrus, and fruits on the nose. smooth on the palate, big bright hops, citrus, fruits, great stuff.

Draft @ brewery tap. 24K gold color with nice lacing. Chewy aroma smells big with piney hop. Big juicy body carries the hop well, which remains in the pine pocket. One of the better ones in the lineup. Dickinsonbeer (5072) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - DEC 27, 2010
GABF 2010. Pours a clear bright orange with a thin lasting head. Aroma is big dank weedy hops with a more floral light tone with pear juice, lemon and orance citrus zest and a medium caramel toasty malt backbone. Flavor is light sweetness, honey, caramel, toast, then grassy hops, herbal floral then pear and weedy dankness. Clean and nice bitter finish. Pretty good. Thanks to yoruefragile for sharing this one. Served in a Fantome tulip. Reviewed from notes.
Pours a moderate orange-ish color with a good off-white head and some light lacing. The nose has some nice fruit elements along with a touch of pine. Citrus is probably dominant. Flavor has quite a bit too much malt for a double IPA and has a bit too much malty girth as well. Hops are nice in the background. Faintly bitter for the style. Decent enough, but too dark with too heavy a hand on the malt. travita (5006) - Dallas, Texas, USA - JUL 26, 2013
Bottle. The look is clear, whitish head, and golden in color. The smell is grassy, hops, pine, pineapple, and resin. The taste is bitterness, hops, fruits, pine, and ok. jkwalking05 (4743) - Arlington, Texas, USA - JUL 26, 2013
