Draft at the Marble Sante Fe tap room. Bright orange color with white head. Light orange citrus and hop aroma. Mildly malted body with a bitter finish. LilBeerDoctor (3930) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 9, 2010
UPDATED: JUL 30, 2011 Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy orange with a thick white head. Aroma is a bit odd -- lots of grassy hops, kinda smells like onion grass mixed with a sweaty gym bag. It gets better once you get used to the oddness. Flavor is pretty similar with the same onion grass/sweat qualities, plus some hop resins and a solid caramel malt base. Bitter finish. Took a little while to warm up to but by the end it was quite enjoyable. Great IIPA!

Update 7/30/2011: Had on tap at the brewpub. Pours a hazy orange red with a thick white head. Aroma of lots of sweaty, piney, and grassy hops. Flavor of lots of caramel malts, bitter hops, and some sweaty hops. Solid malt backbone, overall the beer is fairly malty. Hmm, looks like my ratings from both tap and bottle are nearly identical! 8/4/8/4/14 [3.8/5]
First New Mexico brew, and it’s a good one. 22 oz. bottle from erway- thanks again, Jeff! Pours a clear copper color with a big, frothy off-white head that leaves plenty of soapy lacing in the glass. Aroma of herbal hops, pine, caramel malts, grapefruit citrus, and some floral notes. Flavor of pine resin, floral and herbal hops, tea, caramel malts, and grapefruit. Light-medium bodied, with sharp carbonation and a leafy, malty mouthfeel and bitter aftertaste. Very nice DIPA! dnstone (3418) - Las Vegas, Nevada, USA - JAN 22, 2012
Orange-gold in color with a white head. Strong pine-hop aroma which translates through to the taste. talon1117 (1152) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - APR 24, 2012
The pour is a clear, orangey golden color with a full, white, creamy, fluffy head which settles to a fluffy, rocky layer and leaves scattered, sporadic lace. The nose is a bit bland with pink grapefruit, black pepper, light florals, some pine, light caramelly notes, and some cracker. The flavor is similar with equal parts cracker, pepper, caramel, and resin, still some pink grapefruit, and light rustic notes. The palate is nearly full, nearly lively, oily, and velvety. The beer finishes with a moderately high bitterness, black pepper, resins, slight caramel, and some rustic lingering. Actually a decent IPA/IIPA beer; the fruity citrus and slight caramel added sweetness to the quite bitter, spicy, and resinous beer. The dryness was matched by spice and citrus to avoid any over dry beer. Not very familiar with this brewery but I like them so far.

22oz bottle. Pours clear yellow gold with a big fluffy white head that retains well and laces the glass.wnoble (1251) - Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA - JUL 28, 2012
The aroma is tropical fruits and resiny piney hops.
The flavor is sweet caramel malts and tropical fruits with a big resiny piney floral hop finish. The mouthfeel is medium bodied and a little watery with low carbonation.
Overall, a solid DIPA.
Orange and hazy. Moderate head. Nose is rich with resinous, tropical fruit, ripe grapefruit, pineapple, and other fruit intensity. Even some soapy hop aromas mixed in. Flavor is some sweet bready and caramel malts with a semi sweet but bitter finish. Medium body. Rich texture with moderate carbonation on the back end. Like this one. Thanks trukpro! Hazy amber/gold color; Medium creamy body; Aroma of floral hops, citrus, & tropical fruit; Flavor of sweet malt, caramel, mango/pineapple, pine hops, citrus, and some spice; Finish is dry and slightly bitter; Nicely balanced; Quite decent. keepersj12 (3117) - Sicklerville, New Jersey, USA - DEC 31, 2012
Pours a clear amber with a lacing white head. The aroma is loaded with pine, grapefruit and pepper over a nice amount of bread and a little caramel. The flavor has the sweet base but is mostly bitter hops. Decent. drfabulous (7943) - Lexington, Kentucky, USA - JAN 25, 2013
22 ounce thanks to Justin. Resin and grapefruit. Nice orange pour. Good hop and malt profile Pretty much hits the style right without overdoing malt build.
