Bottle. Poured pale with a creamy off-white head that left good lacing. Aroma of malt and resin hop with a slight hint of grain. The flavor found floral and resin hops with a light malt backing. Medium body and a medium bitterness. Huhzubendah (3705) - Washington DC, USA - DEC 6, 2012
Bottle shared by yourefragile. Thanks Michael.
The beer is light orange hued and fairly hazy. The white head is about a finger’s width, leaving some random traces of lacing upon the glass. The beer is hop forward, with a touch of alcohol. The beer smells stronger than the Marble IPA, with a bit less tropical fruit and citrus presence. This DIPA has more or a malt and hop balance, as opposed to the single IPA, which is more focused on the hop character. Medium bodied with some lingering bitterness in the finish. Overall, I preferred the Marble IPA to this. That said, this was a decent beer and I would have it again.

650 ml. bottle. Pours a thick, well retained, off white head, with extensive lacing, over a slightly hazy, gold (SRM 5) body......nose is pine, resin, grapefruit peel, treacle, floral honey tones....taste is heavy resin, pine, pineapple, toffee/caramel, floral honey tones, finishing with a lingering slightly sweet pine bitterness....mouth feel medium to thick, slightly sticky, alcohol adds light warmth, carbonation creates a thick foamy coating. This is a quite typical American style I/DIPA. Hop heavy with all the aroma and flavor nuances of that backbone, with just enough malt to keep the hops under a bit of control. Cask gravity @ GBBF 2013. Pours a golden color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity piney hoppy grapefruit aroma. Fruity malty piney grapefruit hoppy bitter flavor. Has a fruity malty hoppy bitter piney grapefruit finish. stevoj (5069) - Boise, Idaho, USA - JAN 27, 2016
On tap at brewery. Fairly gentle hop aroma on a cloudy orange/golden pour. Skin of head leads into big hop bite. Sharp, short, but potent. Makes my cheeks flush. Tasty, but pungent aroma enough to make this a sipper. ksbeerkid (28) - Emporia, Kansas, USA - DEC 27, 2009
Draft at the brewery, pours golden orange with little head, smell is citrus-y and earthy. Taste is straigth hop bitterness and is really smooth. Just a step up from the IPA! SoylentBlack (123) - Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA - JAN 19, 2010
Stinky. First sip is a punch in the face. Pucker up. But everyone is spot on this is really good towards the end of that bomber, I wish I had more. hellbilly (3249) - scottsdale über alles, Arizona, USA - MAR 7, 2011
from the cask at papago 7/28/10.
clear. worn penny - rich coppery color with a soft airy cask head.
it smells like sunshine would!... resinous, orange, grapefruit, wood, flowers and caramel.
the palate is a touch sweeter than i would ideally like but it is incredibly hoppy... citrus, dank, wood, toasty grain, caramel and a little ashiness on the finish.
the body is a bit too rich and slick for me toward the bottom of the glass but in small doses or with regular carbonation i am sure this is quite good. 8/3/7/3/15/3.6
