4.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
I haven’t done any ratings for a while but i thought i’d come out of retirement for this one....What an amazing beer! Sat drinking this outside 57 Thomas st in the sun yesterday...the plan was to make the trek to Manchester for an American beer festival, after tasting Dobber though I didn’t even bother, just kept drinking it and then went home...I knew I’d only be disappointed if I drank something else!
On tap @ The StuyckMartinsh (16) - Crewe, Cheshire, ENGLAND - DEC 22, 2017
Golden color, white head, some retention and lacing. Aroma has light notes of resin hops, orange zest and peach. Flavor with a moderate bitterness, light caramel, peachy hints. Final with moderate bitterness. Creamy on palate.
on tap at Beer Dock, Crewe (also available at Nantwich branch)
Pours a soft polished pine-wood gold -(virtually cler) with a generous white head. The initial taste is sharp - there plenty of hops in here, but they are perfectly balanced, with medium carbonation. Then the other flacours come through, orange peel, peanuts, soy sauce, grapefruit, pine resin. Finish is citrus with a long lingering aftertaste.
May not be a classical IPA (too light for a start), but I just love it. Could go on drinking this forever. mabel (10004) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 10, 2017
[9849-20171123] 500mL can. Toasted leafy hops and orange aroma. Slightly hazy, orange body with a medium-lasting creamy white head. Fruity orange berry juice flavour has a long fruity bitter finish. Medium-full body is bitter. Good, a nice bitter brew. (8/4/8/4/15) 3.9+

Overheard: "Just like that other bottle shop... the grocery store."
2017-11-23. Lightly hazy dark yellow body, modest white head. 3+ Aroma has interesting hop character that defies my vocabulary, lemon but not really. Flavour is pleasantly bitter, light lemon and citrus, touch of pith and lemon seed. Tasty. Average bodied palate, good carbonation. 7/3-4/7+/3/16+ Can shared by HogTownHarry. Overheard: "I think I'm sniffing the foam..."
On tap at Marble Arch Inn, Manchester. Pours cloudy golden with white head. Quite hoppy, fruit, pine, grapefruit, some sweetness. Resinous with lasting bitter finish. Medium bodied.

Golden beer, white head, grapefruit in taste and smell but it's quite sour and sickly I'm the aftertaste. Not bad but a bit much for me. jinroh (2466) - ESTONIA - OCT 13, 2017
Manchester beers tasting at Tokyo Midtown. Light orange-yellow pour. White foam. Nose feels tame, light grassy hops and light fruitiness, mellow. Taste more malt forward, green apples and rowans in taste, going to sour direction, that's how grapefruity it is. Citric finish. Pretty good but not on the level of these Cloudwaters we just had. Golden color. Very heady nose with some vegetle notes. Medium body, light medium bitterness. Ok. sam_uk93 (78) - West Sussex, ENGLAND - SEP 21, 2017
Newer 6.5% version. Pours a hazy-ish light amber with a light head. Aroma is sweet pine, tangy grape. Taste is nice and sweet up front, leading to a fruity, piney middle, with a long bitter after taste that lingers. Medium to low carbonation, higher end of medium bodied. Really lovely IPA! Bottleshop Bermondsey - Golden orange pour with white head. Sweet fruity and malty, citrus fruity notes of satsuma and lemon, grapefruit, sweet malty support, hoppy finish.
