Borefts Beer Festival IV. Day 2. Hazy amber beer, little white head. Light palate with mild fine carbonation. Semi dry. Nice hops - floral orange with a nicely judged bergamot tang. A little malt cream. Love the light floral citrus here. Minerals. Dry finish. Very nicely done.

Bottled, from Systembolaget. Hazy golden/amber, creamy head. Tangerine and bergamott up front. Mid sweet with medium-full body and soft, chewy mouthfeel. Citrusy and floral, but also with prominent fruity bready malt character. Balanced bitterness in a mildly peppery finish. What really impresses here is the malt character and conditioning, and how it is combined with citrusy hops. dangerously drinkable. Never had a bottle conditioned beer resembling a cask ale this well before. Leighton (23401) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - OCT 2, 2012
On tap at Borefts 2012, Bodegraven. Pours clearish amber with a frothy, white head. It’s a very sweet beer with a fairly generous herbal tea/hop character. Light caramel pervades. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Somewhat syrupy. Definitely some bitter tea qualities in here, so in that regard, mission accomplished, I suppose. Still, the beer is a bit too sugary sweet. Mild hopfiges Bier, leichte Getreidigkeit. Stimmig, die Teenoten sind dabei eher schwach, fast zu vernachlässigen. Ein süffiges, angenehm hopfiges Bier. 12/11/11/11//11
