Cask gravity at GBBF 2015. Dark red beer not much condition almost made me gag. Some red fruits. But not a good drinking beer. Hops yes but almost made me wretch. Oakes (17274) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - OCT 16, 2011
At the Santa Fe taproom. Dark brown-red. Thin head. Lots of earthy caramel and brown sugars on the nose, with big citrusy, fruity hops. A little bit sticky and yet overattenuated at the same time - weird. The mix of dark malt and citrusy, fruity hop isn’t quite as bright on the palate as it is on the nose.
