Bottle from Belmont station Portland. Pours with very little head. Drinks with with Coca Cola with dark chocolate. Has a bit of carbination on the back end which is diffrent. Once it warms the charred oak really opens up. Nice but was expecting something to take this over the edge.

Ratman197 (15216) - Arvada, Colorado, USA - JUN 10, 2017
Bomber poured a clear dark reddish brown with a small lingering brown head. Aromas of roasted malt, dried fruit and cocoa. Palate was medium bodied and smooth with a dry finish. Flavors of roasted malt, coffee, bakers cocoa and light fruitiness with a smooth dry lingering cocoa finish.

Black pour from 22oz bottle at home. Chalky and cocoa taste. Dry but not in a bad way. Syrup and heavy. Chocolate dominates. Good overall

stevoj (5434) - Boise, Idaho, USA - JAN 27, 2016
Bottle from brewery. Average pour and normal RIS aromas lead into a big roast grain taste, sharp bit at the finish. Nice blend of roast grains, burnt toast with hints of chocolate. Smooth and light bodied, but tasty, and fulfilling.

22 Oz bottle. Huge thanks to Terminus for the bottle! Pours a thick jet black with a tan foam head. Huge, rich chocolate aroma. Caramel malt, chocolate heavy, and oak flavor throughout. Stand out imperial stout for sure. Awesome!

kathouse (1930) - LAS VEGAS, Nevada, USA - AUG 30, 2015
Thick brown foam on a deep brown beer. Dark chocolate and brown sugar aroma. A lot of oak and char flavors. Nice vanilla and chocolate. Dark finish is not sweet but unique.

sloth (2930) - Ceciltucky, Co., Maryland, USA - JUN 2, 2015
Large tan head, lasting, good lace. Black ass pour. Grainy nose backed with light smoke, roast and dark fruits. FULL bodied, chewy, soft carbonation with a sticky, coating palate. Dark chocolate flavors, caramels, some woody tannins, coffee left on all day and some tobacco notes. Fairly rich.Dry finish, roast beans. Props to Kevin for the bomber!

Bomber from Belmont. Pours a pitch black color with a small beige head. A big sweet roast nose. Cocoa, lactose, licorice, dry heavy roast is dominant. Dark fruit and some ash. Very big, very good. Reminds me a bit of a Scandinavian stout, more on the drier side compared to many impys. Nice.
