Cask at Merton Summer B.F ’08. Hazed gold with white head. I was very impressed with this beer, really good sharp grapefruity hop notes with touches of peach and a slightly spicy, dusty hop note. Really well balanced on a medium roasted body with a good graininess. Excellent beer. MesandSim (7117) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - JAN 22, 2008

Lovely clean gold colour with an awesome white head leaving plenty of lace. Fantastic grassy hop aroma with amazing tropical fruit notes. Dusty, earthy and peachy with a glorious kick from a delicate ginger note. The ginger absolutely launches the flavours into the mouth with waves upon waves of everything that was great about the aroma. Genius stuff, Marble get better and better.

Bar, Manchester. Amber looks with a lingering medium size off white head and lots of lace. Plenty of grapefruity citrus and fragrant hop in the nose. Great condition and excellent proportions to the flavour with the sweet malt, fruitiness and hops all singing in harmony. Long lingering bitter finish. Massively drinkable stuff. This comfortably kicks most bland uk bitters to the kerb.
UPDATED: SEP 20, 2008 Cask at Marble Arch Inn, Golden orange ... lovely spicy fruity hop ... very hopp good fruit base but hops are bery well balanced.

Cask (gravity) - Norwich Beer Festival 2010. A good looking beer but that’s not where it’s quality presides. Fairly standard, clear amber with a bubbly though mostly lasting off-white head. Lots going on on the nose: gorgeous green hop, passion fruit & peachy, tangerine aromas. The peach & tangerine really stand out on the tongue too accompanied by a grapefruity bitterness. Lovely balancing malts, finishing slightly dry. Lingering, dry bitter finish, light to medium body & fair carbonation. A beauty of a bitter. Cask handpull, The Marble Arch, Manchester. Flawless bronze without inclusions, slim white top. Now this is more like it; aroma a soft, finely-haired melding of fruits (lychee, grapefruit, geraniums- OK not a fruit), taste punching with pith and resins (grapefruit, pine) and deep, almost earthy nut husk afters. Just some of that nagging, paracetamol astringency again that knocks it down a point. Best with bollocks. Outhops and upstages the Pictish- no mean feat. Cask at the Euston Tap. Pours clear gold with a foamy, white head. Pleasant, crispy malts on the nose, slight straw hops. Light sweet flavor, light toast malts, nice bitterness. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Crisp finish, faintly bready with a nice balance. Good beer. maeib (8749) - Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, ENGLAND - JUL 29, 2008
Cask conditioned - gravity dispense - Merton Summer BF 2008. A dark gold to copper coloured beer with a whitish loose head. The aroma is nice and hoppy with oranges and tangerines. Good citrus fruity hops in the mouth. More oranges. Fresh tasting and tastily well balanced. Svesse (8972) - Hässelby, SWEDEN - AUG 29, 2009
(Cask at Marble Arch, Manchester, 24 July 2009) Dark copper colour with frothy, beige head. Fruity nose with notes of citrus (orange peel, grapefruit). Fruity, slightly malty taste with citrus, grapefruit, grass and a hint of toast with bittersweet orange marmalade. Medium body, generous citrussy bitterness. Solid and very nice beer.
