Some white fruits in the aroma, golden color, hazy. Juicy taste, quite hoppy, not very much orthodox approach, but I like it. JoshRaburn (131) - - JUL 11, 2017
Wow. I’ve never had the Boddington’s in cask when it was supposed to be good, but this is a classic. A very distinctive dry, hoppy beer with a very dry finish. Drinking this helped me understand the distinctive Northern pale bitter style, different from both the traditional Southern bitters and the new but pale and hoppy golden ales. 500ml bottle. Slightly hazy golden colour with a thick one finger white head. Aroma: malts, caramel, grassy citrus hops. Taste: malty and fruity, caramel, grass, citrus, bitter finish. Light body, soft carbonation, easy drinking. Great bitter. rumore (576) - Rimini, ITALY - JUN 16, 2017
From the tap at FOB, Rimini, Italy. Pours intense gold with looots of white fluffy foam. Took several attempts to draft it. Aroma is a very nice mix of citrus and floral, scarcely persistent. It becomes more herbaceous over time. Body is medium-dense. Taste is markedly bitter. Final is long and bitter, herbaceous. BaroneBirra (461) - Gorizia, ITALY - MAY 19, 2017
On tap at Free House Brewery in Trieste. pours deep gold. Almost no aroma. Sweet taste with dry final.

Bottle from Alesbymail. Clear golden with a white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, fruity, light nutty and light hoppy - flowers. Flavor is medium sweet and moderate bitter. Dry and moderate bitter finish. 160417 rogerm1 (21) - Bedfordshire, ENGLAND - MAR 19, 2017
A traditional bitter that is smooth and quaffable with the hint of an exotic hop but not too much. Had this at the Marble Arch Manchester and was very impressed with this new take on a traditional flavour. ThreeCats (967) - ISRAEL - OCT 27, 2016
Clear copperish-brown with creamy head. Aroma of light caramel and fruity esters, with herbal notes. Taste nutty, light caramel, some bitterness. Simple with a bit of a rough edge, kinda like it’s namesake.
