Bottled on 9/12/11.
Poured a slightly hazy light gold with a rocky 2 finger head. This beer has excellent head retention.
There is a nice citrusy hop aroma although I feel it could be a bit more pronounced.
The taste is fairly well balanced between hop flavor and bitterness. There is a nice male character as well.
I think overall this is a pretty good IPA. It is starting to become my go-to IPA as I think it is the best one that is available to me here in northeast TN.

Bottle. Thanks Gabe. Pours a clear light copper orange color with a slight white head. Danky, citrus rind aroma in the nose, maybe a slight tropical note as well. Medium mouthfeel. Sweet orange flavor with a nice bitter rind kick. Lively carbonation. LIngering bitterness. Some florals as well. Overall, a pretty nice IPA. UPDATED: DEC 2, 2011 Draft @ brewery tap, Santa Fe. And bottles. Really great looking beer, rich coppery golden color, pours with great head, some irregular lace. Aroma is brightly hopped, and a nice blend of aroma hops too. Juicy, bright green hops. And a bit of booze in the background. Similar hop to the Marble Pale variety, with cannabis and moist earth. But has a more lasting hop juiciness in the body than the MPA: fir and pine, yum. Not a wow beer, but pretty good. Oakes (18756) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - SEP 25, 2011
Amber. Bright. Aroma of cannabis, leaves and some grapefruit. Rich bitterness, clean malts. Earthy, weedy, leafy. Good IPA - but I am a sucker for both Columbus and Amarillo. wchesser (2140) - Denver, Colorado, USA - SEP 20, 2011
12 oz bottle. Great citrus nose and nice clear color. Grapefruit predominates. Definitely in the West Coast style and one for the hopheads. Good, will make a lot of people happy. A bit out of balance for me, but I would probably buy again if I was in the mood for something in this style.

Draft. Pours a hazy amber with a small white head. Aroma is lightly floral and straw. Light sticky mouthfeel with a somewhat bitter finish. Moderately bitter flavor. A solid IPA, and a good session beer for me. Jabic (701) - Plainfield, Vermont, USA - SEP 15, 2011
Ar: Very resiny - grapefruit, orange, herbal
Ap: Clear golden - big fluffy white head with great retention and beautiful lacing.
T: Clean and bitter - orange, grapefruit, touch of spicy pepper - steely bitterness lingers long with a touch of black-teal-like tannins on finish
P: Light bodied with medium-high carbonation - refreshing, though comes off a bit too thin.
O: Bitter, hoppy, and clean IPA - very west-coast like with a de-emphasis of malt - overall, a nice beer, though a bit more robust mouthfeel would improve it. bu11zeye (13215) - Frisco (Dallas), Texas, USA - SEP 2, 2011
(12ox bottle, courtesy of zdk9) Pours a clear golden body with a small white head. Aroma of pine, grass, citrus, and nuts. Flavor of pine, caramel, grass, citrus, and toasted grain with a moderately bitter finish. jcr (2763) - Jasper, Indiana, USA - AUG 13, 2011
UPDATED: MAY 18, 2012 Draft. Deep gold body with fizzy white head, slowly diminishing. Aroma of citrus, flowers, grapefruit, toasted malt, bread. The flavor is moderately sweet and moderately bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet and moderately to heavily bitter. Medium body, watery texture and lively carbonation. Nice bitterness, but not so much as to mask the malt flavors in the background. And not so malty as to mute its crispness. Some peppery, earthy notes in the finish alongside the grapefruit. Excellent IPA. Hophead22 (2879) - Redlands, by way of Wisconsin,, California, USA - AUG 12, 2011
12oz bottle. Rating #81. Clear medium gold pour. Light hop aroma. Nice bite, good bitterness, real decent IPA. (1851)
