12fl oz bottle poured into an English pint. Black with ample brown froth. Aroma is earthy malt, slight chocolate. Flavor is heavy on chocolate. A lot of carbonation and very thick. Think fizzy chocolate milk. The cocoa finish lasts forever.

12 oz single bottle from Jubilation Fine Wines and Spirits. Black appearance with a tan head. Aroma of chocolate malt, coffee, lightly roasted grain and light notes of caramel/toffee. Similar flavor, adding moderate malt sweetness and a smooth, creamy feel. Solid stout overall. BelgianBeerGal (4140) - Panama City, Florida, USA - AUG 1, 2016
Dark brown pour into my Hampton paper cup in Alamogordo. Huge brown head that lasts forever. Huge aroma of espresso, baking chocolate and pumpernickel bread. Big coffee in the flavor that leaves a lingering espresso bitterness. Very tasty. Gespuccian (141) - Wisconsin, USA - MAY 8, 2016
Pours dark brown, a finger or of two of thick head. Nose is coffee, chocolate, roast, a bit of alcohol. Taste is milk chocolate, coffee with cream. Some roast. Mouthfeel is light for a stout, effervescent, but very smooth and rich. A step below great - very good.

Single bottle, shared by chan man .. . Pours a gritty dark brown .. Foam was novice .. . Mouth was light, a touch grainy .. . Decent stout but could be cleaner, not the most enjoyable brew on the finish .. . . I like my women how i like my steaks...

Really Solid. It’s the type of beer that’s light enough that I could definitely drink several of these in one sitting, but roasty and flavorful enough that I could stand to let it be my only drink of the night. tapthis (272) - Baytown, Texas, USA - JUN 13, 2015

Draft at the brewery. Pours a dark, black color with a thin tan head. Roasted malt aroma with a thick sense of coffee. Nice, coffee flavor with a roasted finish. Pretty good stout. Kevin (2200) - Montana, USA - JAN 3, 2015
two days without going to work, plenty of food, and it’s cold outside. so, i have not gone outside in 2 days, and won’t until i walk to work tomorrow at 3 pm. apparently it is possible to have too much caffeine as i look at my hands shaking as i type this, but coffee is delicious. so is this beer. pairs well with the jambalaya i cooked up last night and still pairs well when i have it with breakfast. mild nose with a hint of bacon in the roast. porkyness comes into the flavor also, and this is very much appreciated. touch of lactic with the light roast and a mild nuttiness. well reigned in bitterness that alllows the malt to shine. lingering tootsie roll type chocolate flavor. been keeping a 6 pack on hand since middle of december and will continue to until i finish off the piss poor porter a brewed recently. this is a great starter beer with my abomination being the ender when i just want to add alcohol to my psyche. Pours a dark molasses with a thick creamy head. Aromas of light roasted malt, slight chocolate, slight caramel, slight molasses and brown sugar. Flavors of medium roasted malt, slight wood, slight caramel and just a hint of coffee/espresso. Medium sweet. Very slight woody aftertaste.
