On draught at the brewery. Pours an opaque dark brown with a slight tan head. Mellow pumpkin pie aromas. Similarly, spices complement the rich, dark malt flavors. Draft at Marble Taproom in Santa Fe. Pours a deep amber color with a tiny off-white head. Aroma of big toasted malts, nutmeg, chocolate, nuts, ginger, and earth. Wow. Great smell. Flavor is almost as good, with all the same notes hit. Medium-bodied, with a toasty, spicy mouthfeel and modest carbonation. Holy cow. Best new beer I’ve had in a while.
