Cask (6.2%)@GBBF2011. Ambery red colour, small off-white head. Aroma is fruity, floral, mild yeasty and quite pleasantly malty. Flavour is much the same with mild toasted notes. Balanced and nice. Rosebud butternuts (2396) - Denton, Texas, USA - AUG 15, 2011
Bottle from a trade. Poured deep amber with an off white head and some lace on the glass. Aroma was caramel, toffee, dark fruit, brown sugar, and citrus. Flavor was pine, caramel, and slight raisin. Body was light with medium carbonation and finished kinda dry. These guys have impressed me with every offering so far. Amber pour with tan head and lace. Resiny hops, light/medium caramel. Dry caramel, light/medium resiny bitter. Medium bodied and a bit fizzy. JohnSluis (4) - New Mexico, USA - JUL 21, 2011 does not count
Wow! Great hoppyness right away on the nose. I also get caramel and almost a spice of some sort. Perfect carbonation for me, medium. Marble does it once again! fonefan (49399) - VestJylland, DENMARK - JUL 17, 2011

[ Courtesy of Alex420 ]. Light unclear medium to dark red amber colour with a average to large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, fully lasting, off-white to light beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, caramel, moderate to heavy hoppy, citrus, orange - citrus. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
On tap at the brewpub. This is a great flagship beer and possibly one of the best red ales I’ve had (NM knows how to make red ales!). Pours a cloudy dark red/brown with a thick tan head. Aroma of tons of sweaty hops, also grassy and piney hops. Flavor is super hoppy with lots of sweat and hop resins. I could drink this all day. Between this and the IPA, that is enough to keep me coming back to Marble.

Bottle. Nice color. Hoppier than I would expect from a red ale, which for me is a positive. Great beer. Pour me another.
