2103 release on draught at the brewpub. Pours a dense brown color with a fading tan head. Big body and bold aromas. Big bourbon flavor matched to a brown sugerl-ike sweetness and an oak character. Solid hop bitterness paired to a slightly sweet maltiness. Overall, it works well. Probably improve with age. Very nice!

Thanks to Matt for this very brew!

22 Oz bottle from Eric. Thanks so much! First marble, and its a good one for sure. Pours a dark brownish red color with a swirling fizz head. Caramel and dark fruit forward aroma. Flavor is semi sweet, with caramel, and a heavy vanilla background. Just enough bourbon to know its there, and not overpower the other fantastic flavors going on here. Dry, vanilla spice and oak finish. I knew I was excited for these beers, but this actually exceeded my expectations, which was a surprise to me. Awesome beer.

Bottle from Beaumont. CBC left a mark! Pours a mostly clear dark copper color with a medium white head- dies down. A big sweet fruit bourbon nose. Sugary, hot, some toffee, actually lots of toffee, berries, some vanilla, the bourbon is big. Light tobacco. Nice beer.

Bomber from Dicks. I think basically everything Marble makes is exemplary so I just went ahead and snatched this bad boy up. Poured into a goblet, the beer is a deep, rich, clear ruby red with a small khaki head. Aroma smells like a barleywine. There are plenty of sweet malt notes of toffee and bread along with potent vanilla/charred oak and subtler hints of tobacco, earth and berries. The body is medium heavy with the perfect amount of sweetness for the style. This is barleywine, right? I dont see what else it could be. The bitterness becomes apparent finally in the flavor, but no real strong hop flavors develop. More sweet notes of toffee, vanilla, oak, figs, tobacco and rip fruits come through. Very nice beer.

Bomber, 2012 vintage. Intoxicating aroma of caramel, bourbon, wood and vanilla. Pours reddish-brown with a thin tan head with good retention and lacing. Starts with excellent caramel sweetness with a slick, smooth mouthfeel. Finishes equally as smooth with the bourbon, wood and vanilla taking center stage as well as a slight boozy burn at the very end. This is a fantastic beer with the complex flavors complementing each other quite nicely.
