Cloin's 20K @ T42. Thanks to Leighton. Opaque dark brown beer, small pale tan head. Palate is airy, semi dry and has decent fine carbonation. Dry and thin dark malts, a little dark chocolate. Mild spice some of it booze generated. Light caramel. Dry and tangy dark fruits. Ripe red wine. Light dry and mildly spicy finish. Nice enough but was hoping for more.

Nice presentation. Pours muggy brown, small lasting head. Nice sugar cherry aroma. Full body, low carb. Boozy berries and woody funk on tasting, with some slightly undesirable Brett flavours. Fairly sweet, long finish. Probs worth hanging on to so see how it develops

Bottle shared in London for cloin's 20k - cheers. Pours unclear brown with a foamy, mocha head. The aroma has lots of ripe and tangy berries, some cherry, burnt wood. Medium sweet flavour with tons of jammy, lightly tart berries, a bit of woody dryness, mild earth, fruitcake. Medium to full bodied with fine carbonation. Warming finish, with more tangy, dried and leathery berries, faint acidity, earth, toasty malts, raisins. Very good depth. Fun complexity. I like it.
