Pint at the Hope beer festival. A: Golden colour, slight haze, small thin head which faded, some lacing. S: Initial burst of citrus gave way to a bit of earth and souring fruit. T: Combined bitter fruits (mainly grapefruit) with earth. M: Light body, minimal carbonation. My Bottom Line:Theydon_Bois (19546) - Hazlemere, the lower Xhitlerns, Buckinghamshire, ENGLAND - JUN 14, 2013
Delicate caramel and peaches meet leafy hops and their bitterness in this slender quencher.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A ring of foam circles the clear amber shine.
-Malts could be more revealing.
-Menthol hop whiffs appear here and there.
-This is very well-made, but definitely forgettable and generic.
