Cask Handpump at the Marble Arch Inn, Manchester 18/07/2005 Golden coloured with a sour fruit flavour. A hint of dryness in a crisp full malt finish.

(Cask at Marble Arch, Manchester, 28 July) Colour is golden yellow with little head. Nose is fruity with lots of citrus (mostly lemon, but some grapefruit as well) and a grassy hop aroma. Same goes for the taste: fruity with grapefruit and lemon, long bitter (citrus style hop taste) finish. Some sweetness, but well balanced by the citrus. Very nice, hoppy and summery.

Cask @ The Cock Tavern. Light amber color with no head. The aroma’s very sweet orchard fruits and apricots. The taste is light grassy hop, more sweet peaches and plenty of strawberry fruit salad. Light and refreshing. Zippy hints of lemon. Sweet, but very flavorful. Nice!

Clear golden with a fine thick white head. Solid lacing! Citric, herbal/grassy and malty aroma. Medium body and a soft carbonation. Ok and fresh balance between sweetness and bitterness. Citric, some pine, mild grassy and malty flavor. Nice and tasty session able ale.

Small white creamy head. Clear yellow body. Floral grape aroma with fruity notes. Dry-sweet, and somewhat tart, floral resiny taste with earthy mealy notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft, flat mouthfeel. Dryish floral resiny aftertaste with grassy mealy notes. Nice, but served lukewarm, which was a bit warm, even for me. (0.284l keg at The Knott Bar, Manchester.)

A Mes rate. Cask at the Rake.
Almost clean gold with a faint white film. God the condition of the beers in the place has gone downhill. Thankfully, this is a pale, hoppy Marble beer so it’s hard to spoil it really. Typical excellence from Dominic. Bright and full of shining summer sun. Memories of sitting on a hillside on a glorious day looking out over a panoramic vista, not a hint of concrete in sight. Superbly refreshing and dry, beautiful bitterness and just an all round joy. More please.

Hazy light blond, soapy head. Aroma of citrus, orange and hop. Flavour has nice bittersweet citrus and orange oils.

HogTownHarry (7065) - Toronto (Harbourfront), CANADA - AUG 23, 2013
August 13, 2013 - hand-pull cask at Ol Fountain. Slightly hazy light gold with a solid creamy lasting white head. Light aroma On draught at dry grain and lush lightly catty pungent bitterness and light alcohol. Light body and carbonation, longish pungent alpha-bitter grassy finish. Another damned fine beer.

BeerViking (5042) - Brentford, Greater London, ENGLAND - AUG 26, 2010
Gold with a big white head, lots of floral hoppy aroma, with hints of violet, then a crisp bitter and malt body. Well balanced with a long bitter-dry aftertaste.
