Keg at the Vintage. Pours golden amber, sweet, resinous, not too bitter, fruity. Lonick (2537) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - SEP 22, 2013
Bottle @home. Pours golden ever so slightly cloudy. Hops, pine, citrus and biscuit. Long, heavy flavoured finish, a top notch beer that i enjoyed more than perhaps these marks show, a very easy beer to drink that i would happily go back to. Keg at Crown & Anchor, Brixton. It pours cloudy amber with a thick white head. The nose is fresh pine, creamy, orange squash, tangerine and marmalade. The taste is smooth, piney, earth, straw, floral, light resin, orange and grapefruit with a dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Smooth, balanced and rather drinkable. jamestulloch (4268) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - APR 30, 2013
Aroma: Yeast, sweet toffee and restrained orange marmalade notes.

Appearance: Muddy copper body with a medium off-white head. Average carbonation. Few lacing marks.
Taste: Pine, caramel, yeast and hints of melon rind. Overall, it’s quite sweet for an IPA. Dry finish.
Palate: Medium body with a slick, oily mouthfeel. Light carbonation.
Overall: Pretty good, and very easy drinking for 7.2% ABV, but it’s a bit too sweet for my liking.
Sample from 50cl bottle @ post TdG tasting 04/2013. Marble’s cover of De Molen’s Vuur & vlam for the Borefts Beer Festival 2010. merci kraddel? - Pleasant light mouthfeel, pilsner malts? Quality hoppiness after 2yrs turned into quality soapiness. Under the corpse must have lain a fine UK IPA. Upped rating a bit to balance out the inherent unfairness of aging an IPA over 3months...

Little cloudy orange beer, big fluffy head, pretty stable, non adhesive. aroma: very soapy, floral, citrus fruits, chloride, bit lemony. MF: lots of carbon, medium body. taste: lots of bitter almonds, citric fruits, bit soapy, grapefruit, pretty bitter, chemical touch. Aftertaste: very bitter, chloride, zesty, orange peel, citrus, grapefruit, pretty soapy, very bitter and dry ending.
Keg at vintage. Hazy amber with white head. Very custardy aroma, little bubblegum and citrus. Taste is very custardy again, some orange as well. Medium body with bitter finish. Not a fan of the custard vibe badmansam (58) - Greater London, ENGLAND - MAR 29, 2013
Keg @ Hops & Glory 2013/3/29 A little too much carbonation perhaps. Poor head retention. Aroma is floral and sweet alcohol. Great taste - resinous, hoppy, caramel malt - well balanced. Very nice. Lukaduke (3206) - Gray, Maine, USA - AUG 16, 2012
Pours a deep hazy orange gold with a two finger eggshell head that sticks to my glass like a champion lacer. Aromas are pretty sticky pine, tangerine and a deep caramel malt presence... is this a English DIPA at 7.2? Wow this is good ! Great floral bitter quality in the mid-palate with a dose of tropical fruit before it bitters out nicely in the finish... touch of raw carrot lingers in the mouth. Great carbonation and malty backbone that is not even close to as sticky as the nose made me think it would be... nice refreshing IPA ! pushkinwow (2888) - Ottawa, CANADA - JUL 17, 2012
750ml bottle from Winter Secret Santa, believe that this is the original bottling from 2010 for the borefts festival, but regardless very happy to be trying this. Clear amber with a billowy white head that leave a nice cloudy layer throughout the drink. Very fresh considering the age, nice barley and grain, light hops and some floral aromas. Bittersweet, light to moderate body and carbonation, becomes more bitter with additional depth, light citrus and a very nice dry finish. Tasty.
